Zyliss 2 Drum Food Grater

Having bought this cheese grater only recently and used it perhaps 6 times the locking clip has broken. Naturally, this is an expensive item and I would have thought that for the price it should be lasting for years rather than a couple of months!

Have just seen this grater is reduced and not being re-stocked. Checked out the reviews and found I am far from alone. The locking clip on the grating drum broke after only a few uses, meaning that if you continued trying to grate cheese with it, it would simply fly everywhere. The main handle/food holder was far too long, meaning my thumb was not long enough to maintain enough pressure to hold food against the grater. I hate complaining, have never written a bad review before, but this was so far from your usual standard that I felt I had to add my view to the others - sorry!

Just as other reviewers have found - a great product with a design flaw. The locking clip has broken on mine too! It's now sitting in a drawer, unuseable.

This was a great product, until the clip broke. Now it is for the bin!

I purchased my Zyliss grater from Lakeland at the full price several years ago and still think it was worth every penny. Both drums perform well and it is easy to wash. I've had drum graters before but like Zyliss best.
