OXO Good Grips® Fridge/Freezer Thermometer

I thought this would be a really good idea, since it folds back to give more room in the 'fridge, and since all the Good Grips things we have had have been brilliant. Unfortunately the thermometer doesn't seen to give an accurate reading, as our previous thermometer (also from Lakeland, but took up too much space as it had to go on a shelf) did. The other problem is that the thermometer is too heavy for the suction cup, so keeps falling off the side of the 'fridge. It seems such a good idea - perhaps I am using it wrongly?

Sorry to say that the sucker just does not stay stuck for long and I am not really too sure what the hinge is for - its far to stiff and when used pulls the sucker off the wall of the fridge. Does Lakeland ever test their products or rely on the reputation of the manufacturer? The temperature gauge is however good and very clear. Buy it, but forget the sucker.

I have not used the sticker as we did not need it, so cannot comment on that, but the thermometer itself is excellent - and easy to read without having to scrabble to see the red line. Well worth the money. Would be even better with a max/min facility.

The suction cup will not stay stuck to the side of the refrigerator.The hinge is too stiff and if you try to fold it back while it is still stuck to the refrigerator wall it comes away from the wall immediately.In its folded out state it takes up too much room.

I FOUND THIS AN EXCELLENT BUY GOOD CLEAR READING , STAYS PUT ANYWHERE IN FRIDGE OR FREEZER, FOLD FLAT DEVICE VERY GOOD WELL WITHIN TEMP READINGS OF OLD DEVICE
