Lidded Universal Steamer

I bought this steamer to supplement our main steamer which unfortunately only fits on our largest saucepan, which is often required for other things. It's really great - "does what it says on the tin". Fits all of our saucepans perfectly. The stainless steel is perhaps a teensy bit on the flimsy side, but I don't really see this as a problem. Holds a decent amount, too. Highly recommended, thank you Lakeland.

I have had this steamer for several years now, and I use it all the time. I use it for all kinds of vegetables, from Asparagus to Zucchini!I love that I can use it over any of my pans: 16, 18 or 20cm, which means that I usually only need to have one pan on the hob.I find luggage space for this steamer when we are going self-catering, together with my Circulon 8" Stir Fry Pan (purchased ten years ago). The Steamer Lid perfectly fits the Stir Fry Pan - so it's 2 in one.

This is fabulous. Good and sturdy and fits all my saucepans. Buying a product like this instead of a fold up one will solve the hot fingers issue and encourage me to use it!!

the knob needs a deeper recess to give a better grip.very difficult with weak hands, and dangerous, poor design.

I really like the ability to use the steamer on various size saucepans, but I am disappointed with the lid. On first use I put it in the dishwasher only to find dirty water had got under the handle and was difficult to get out. Should it not have a rubber seal which would eliminate this problem.
