"Disappointed" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I bought a Bamix and all the accessories a few years ago. I very rarely use it as it is no where as efficient as my kenwood stick blender (thank god i didnt throw it out). Yesterday was the last straw when i was using the wet/dry mill to do some breadcrumbs and the stick melted!! How on earth it can overheat when its doing breadcrumbs and i have only used the darn thing half a dozen time is beyond me. Total waste of money support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry to hear you've experienced this problem and will be in touch soon.
"Disappointed" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Hi I bought the BAMIX and must say I just can not get my head around it. It doesn't blend soups as well as my £20 hand blender. Asparagus soup is left strandy. It can not make thai curry paste, nor does it grind spices finely. I can not understand how so many people like this product. support_agent A note from the team We're sorry to hear you've been disappointed with this product and will be in touch soon to help.
"A disappointment and a waste of money" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I bought the Bamix, and all the attachments several years ago. The attachments constantly fell off despite trying to press them together, so they were never used. The slicing and grating blades along with the bowl are too small and inefficient. The only thing that was good about it was the small chopper used for nuts, herbs, spices and hard cheese, which I found useful. Even this, and the bracket to hold the machine to the wall has now broken. It has had very little use and I am still using the 30 year old well known brand which I bought it to replace. A complete waste of money and kitchen space. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. "Disappointing" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I bought my Bamix from Lakeland two years ago and have really tried with it, but it's been disappointing. Thick cake mixes, frosting, mashed potatoes - it struggles with them all and gets so hot I have to let it cool down before continuing. The only thing it seems to cope with is thin batters. The final straw came recently when I tried to whisk egg whites. After three attempts that stayed completely liquid, I popped out and bought an £11.99 electric hand whisk which did the job first time. Bamix is going back in the box unfortunately. Very disappointing. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for taking the time to write your review, I'll be in touch shortly to help.
"disappointed" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Had this a few months (bought from shop) and in that time kept trying it. I've found it can't beat eggs, doesn't mix right and I seriously do not like it. I was really happy to finally get one but I've used it less and less and finally given up on it. Plus the fact when you use it it is really hot after only using couple of minutes, which I find can't use after using for only 5 mins, as too hot to use. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for your feedback I'm sorry to hear of the problems you'd had, I'll be in touch shortly.
