Out of the dozens we tested, we gave this particular compact model the seal of approval, because it creates the loveliest home-made mince from raw steak or Sunday roast leftovers (delicious in cottage pie); is such a doddle to use; and no bother to clean afterwards.
Included are fine and coarse mincing discs; a cutting blade that tenderises meat and chops onions; plus a pasta attachment for rigatoni, spaghetti & linguine .
If you fancy making your own sausages, there's a nozzle for that too!

I got this and also a cheap electric one from elsewhere, this was so much easier to mince 2kg of pork. I just made 2kg of sausages using this and they are excellent. Going to source some more attachments to make different sizes. Electric mincer went back as this does all I need.

We also have textured work surfaces, but by sticking a square of clear sticky-backed plastic down it creates a perfectly smooth surface, and the mincer stays put. I put one underneath my glass work-top saver, so it doesn't show and is always there when I need to use the mincer.
This mincer is easy to use and put together. Very Quick.Some people said negative things about the suction cup ie it wont fix to non smooth work tops.I have non smooth worktop....So Solution is to fix it to a glass work top saver.Works a treat! Lovely mince.It's great knowing exactly what is in your mince rather than supermarket mince. Well worth the money. Thank you Lakeland!.....Fast delivery too!
Fantastic little machine that worked brilliantly mincing a kilo of fatty pork as well as pheasant & partridge breasts for a pate. Easy to clean & store. Stuck so well to my glass topped kitchen table that it could even shift the glass! The included sausage stuffer was a bonus that I've not tried yet, but am all of a sudden keen to!
I have just bought this, as I wanted to make chicken burgers, but didn't fancy or like the look of supermarket chicken mince, when I had loads of quality chicken in the freezer. I have just minced my first batch, and it processed the chicken beautifully. Easy to use, not too much of a fiddle to clean, and it stuck to my glossy worktop like a barnacle to a whale! Not even a hint of shifting. Have now ordered sausage skins and sausage making book, so I can try out the sausage nozzle !!
