These all lovely, unusual and pretty. I had no problem getting them to fit and I used my own chickens' eggs which vary in size from day to day. Everyone was very impressed. I know it's not Easter yet but I just had to test them out! Excellent value too.
I bought these to make decorative eggs for my children. How disappointing. The wraps didn't shrink to fit at all despite leaving them for varying times. Don't bother with these!
Thanks for taking the time to write your review. These are suitable for medium eggs only but we will pass on a suggestion for us to indroduce a larger version in the future.
I bought this from Lakeland a few years ago and am so glad that you still sell them. They looked wonderful on my easter breakfast table. The wraps fit well over medium sized eggs and are so easy to put on in a couple of seconds! I will be buying some more this easter!
Used these wraps to prepare eggs for a healthier Easter Egg Hunt for my Rainbow Guide Unit: didn't like the idea of hiding chocolate eggs outside as the girls would have wanted to eat them and I had health and safety concerns. These wraps are really easy to use, it was as simple as it says on the pack. I was extrememly impressed. I used the ordinary eggs from a supermarket and size was not a problem, the wraps just slipped on. I am sure that the Rainbows will enjoy the egg hunt tonight.
These only fit medium eggs, they can be tricky to get on and it pays to boil eggs first, allow to cool then apply the wrap and dip in hot water to shrink-wrap. Otherwise you will scald your fingers trying to get wrap on. It is hard to get into egg once they are on and end up needing to cut them off so my best recommended use is either just for an Easter display or great for hiding in the garden for an Easter Egg hunt. But a bit of fun, and lovely bright designs. Am yet to find out whether it is possible to shrink-wrap blown egg-shells, because that would be great for an Easter Display.
