12cm Dia. Stainless Steel Strainer Sifter

Living in a flat with limited kitchen space I found my own strainer was so large. I saw this one and sent off for it and it is plenty big enough for what I need, in fact it is better for sieving flour as the flour ends up in the bowl and not around it so win win!

This was just what I was looking for. It appears solid, well made and attractive. It is conical in shape and probably too large for a tea strainer but big enough to be able to strain and sift small quantities. My previous metal strainer rusted badly but hopefully being stainless steel this will prove more resistant.

I searched for tea strainer's, & small strainer came up amongst the other tea strainer's. I should have taken the measurement, but didn't think I needed to. Good quality strainer, so will give it 4 star's

I have been looking for a sensible size sieve for a while: one that is bigger than a tea strainer, but which is not the typical size that leaves your single portion of broccoli looking forlorn. This has a slightly thicker mesh which gives the added benefit of being easier to clean. Love it - not sure how I managed without it now!

I should have read the previous review before ordering as assumed the small strainer would sit snugly on top of a cup/mug. It's too big for that but entirely my own fault for not checking the diameter. Sturdily made but not sure what I will use it for!
