Cracks

Like everyone else says, this is a great product and a good size for me and like everyone else the problem of cracking has spoilt it. I would love an even bigger one for veg. Both inner and outer parts have cracks. The outer part has cracks that radiate from the centre and is now unfit to use because it leaks. Hope you can get this problem sorted out because I definitely would like another one.

Crack

My steamer is less than a year old and it has been fantastic until a crack developed in the inner pot. Really disappointed! From the reviews, it is apparent that it is a design fault. Would have definitely liked a substitute if no problems with product cracking.

Common defect

I bought this some time ago and it started to develop cracks in the outer base within the first year. Looking at the reviews of this product, I see I am not the only one, so agree with other customers - needs improvement, especially as it is now so difficult to buy microwave steamers elsewhere. I need another one as mine now leaks so badly it really is no longer viable, but am reluctant to purchase one until the design improves.

Polycarbonate is dishwasher safe, however to prolong the life span of the product we would advise that it washed by hand.
