40 litre slimline hand-woven willow laundry basket with removable cotton canvas liner.
Slipping neatly beside a wardrobe or chest of drawers, our slimline basket takes up very little space, but will still hold a lot of laundry. Hand-woven from willow, we love its creamy good looks and the fact you can lift out the cotton canvas liner for washing.

Sorry Lakeland, I hate to say it but the quality of this laundry basket is such a disappointment compared to your usual high standard.
The exterior snags everything that it is unfortunate enough to come into contact with so it is now stashed away underneath a desk instead of in it's planned location. I paid the sale price so I don't want to make too much of a fuss as it serves it's purpose and is, by and large, a great idea that has been let down by poor design, a shame really.
And my previous purchase (a heated towel airer) is so fabulous it kinda makes up for it anyway!

Rocking basket

My daughter chose this for her bedroom and it looked great and fitted nicely into the corner. However, the basket has warped to such an extent that it rocks on its base unless its wedged against the wall. Also, the basket has split in two places on the handles resulting in snagged tights when they are going on and out of the basket. Disappointing for the price and not Lakeland's usual quality.

Useful basket

I was concerned by some of the reviews so instead of ordering on line went to look at the basket at my local store (Taunton, very helpful, friendly staff!).
I was pleased that the basket was as I expected so I bought it. Such a useful slimline size, it fits nicely in my kitchen to store all my carrier bags for reuse/recycling.
