Easy Home-made Marinade
A marinade can make the world of difference to your food, lifting a humble dish to new heights and refining its flavour. Ready-mixed or home-made, it can make the difference between a ‘good’ and a ‘great’ dish, and won’t take up much of your time either.
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 fresh red chilli, deseeded and chopped
- handful fresh coriander leaves
- 1 lemongrass stem
- 1 lime, quartered
- 2 garlic cloves, whole
- Mix all of the ingredients together, place in a Self-Seal Bag along with your meat and leave in the fridge for at least 4 hours. This marinade works well with chicken, duck or pork.
