Bagel Cutter Guide - Lakeland, the home of creative kitchenware

Bagel Cutter Guide

Mmm... we love a nice bagel, but it can be tricky to cut them evenly and safely. Gillian Newman of Radlett, Oxfordshire asked us to find a solution, and problem over – just drop the bagel into the holder, and run a knife down the slot. No more wonky wedges.

1 stars out of 5 Bagel Cutter-disappointing

by Mrs Richardson

This is the first Lakeland product that has disappointed me. It is worse than useless. The Bagels wobble around in it so it ends up uneven and even this result requires quite a bit of a struggle! It's much easier just to cut them with a knife! Definitely a gimmick!

1 stars out of 5 Useless

by Chris Naylor

I have to say that this is, in my opinion, a very poor product. I buy bagels from two leading supermarkets, they are not uniform in size and the bagel cutter is too large to accomodate them. As a result, when trying to cut evenly, they cut at an angle instead, no good if you want to toast them. I sure am glad it wasn't expensive, cutting freehand with a knife produces better results.

4 stars out of 5 Bagel cutter

I think this is a great product. It is extremely easy to use and I no longer have oddly sliced bagels. They also fit in the cutter and do not wobble at all.
