Excellent - in value and quality

I used to live in the USA, where giving gifts jars filled with home made cookie and brownie mixes, attractively presented and "layered" in beautiful jars, is common. Here in the UK they are also great for school fairs and Christmas gifts for teachers and friends. I searched the internet for quality jars which look pretty and serve this purpose well. These 1litre jars are absolutely ideal, and by far the most economical option I have found. A little big for my jam and chutney production, but great as gifts. Highly recommended - well done Lakeland!

Great, but a little too big

I love these jars and have used the half litre ones regularly for jams and chutneys. Would really love to see some smaller ones too though, maybe 1/4 litre? They make a homemade chutney gift look very professional!

Very happy with these, as mentioned before, this is the most inexpensive I have found them. I have just ordered some more as pickling has become the thing to do in our house.
