Oops!

I put my lovely new bottles in the oven to sterlise them before I used them and managed to melt the plastic bottle caps in the process - before I had ever used them! It would be good if you could purchase additional caps separately as it seems many of us have ruined the caps in the dishwasher or oven.

Your review is very helpful. Our suppliers recommend removing the steel clips and lids if sterilising over 70 degrees, we'll pass your suggestion for separate caps to our buying team.

Mini-bottles please

I have both these bottles and love them. I would love to be able to buy beautiful smaller bottles so that I can give small amounts of sloe gin / cherry brandy etc as gifts - any chance they will be available through lakeland?

I'd bought some of the cordial bottles for the annual elderflower season and I was just about to either dishwasher or oven sterilise them when I thought I would check the website to see if they were ok to dishwasher. I am so glad that I did check the reviews......I would have been very upset if I had ruined them before I had even used them. So, I removed the tops and washed/sterilised them without a hitch and would like to say a big 'thank you' to the people who bother to write reviews and to Lakeland for having this facility. It would be handy though, Lakeland, to have ceramic tops instead to overcome this problem.
