My daughter and I had great fun trying the pasta machine. We found it a bit fiddly at first but we managed in the end and it became easier to use as we used it more. My only gripes are - the handle falls out quite easily; the recipe/instuctions were very vague and I feel these could be improved - I'd never made pasta before and was not sure about the flour to use, there is a metal strip that came with the machine and I'm not sure what it's for. My biggest disapointment is the clamp - it doesn't fit onto the side of my worktop (which is thicker). It would be great if they made this longer. I had to attach it onto my butchers trolley which wasn't ideal as it still wouldn't fit securely. However, this didn't stop us and we look forward to using it again.

I got this as a Christmas present and now I cant stop making pasta. This machine is easy to use with a handle that can be popped into the different positions very easily. It makes creating spaghetti very easy. I also have the lasagne attachment which I plan to use very soon. Just need to find a rack to hold my pasta while it dries.

I'd never attempted to make pasta before, but this machine made it really easy. It made lovely pasta which I then used in the Lakeland Ravioli Press which was also excellent. I would advise that you make sure you use the right kind of flour for your dough, otherwise you could end up with a sticky mess. For a smallish amount of pasta, I used: 140g '00' grade pain flour 1 egg, plus an extra yolk half a tsp olive oil half a tsp salt I would also make sure you run your dough through all the machine's settings at least twice before using it - this is supposed to improve it.
