“Sturdy and effective

OXO Good Grips® Salad Spinners
I've had the bigger one of these spinners for years and its still giving excellent service. Not only is it effective in drying off lettuces, but also herbs and soft fruit: of the last of these it is especially good for raspberries as they don't get squashed as they can do if you dab them with kitchen paper after washing.

“Great for keeping leaves fresh

OXO Good Grips® Salad Spinners
Although it's sold as a salad spinner, it's also great for keeping washed leafy things fresh in the fridge. Lettuce, herbs, spring onions, spinach all keep crispy and tasty in the fridge, washed and ready for quick snacking and sandwich making. Wouldn't be without it.

“excellent for arthritic hands

In daily use since its purchase some 18 months ago. The users in our house suffer from arthritis and swollen hands and have no difficulty because of the plunger. Needs to be pumped several times to rid the leaves fully of water, but that is not a fault. Surprised to read about the spring coming out, it would appear to be very sturdy. Easy to clean. Very pleased with it.
