"Better than I expected"

Used with some trepidation for a half football cake, but worked fine. Used Mary Berry's Madeira cake recipe with 4 eggs quantity, probably would have been better with more batter as it didn't fill the tin enough, but it was fine for what we needed. Lined with strips of paper and greased tin with butter, baked at 160 for 30 minutes then at 140 for about an hour. Came out fine and cooked perfectly. Will be using again!
