Having read the other reviews I was a bit worried about making a cake using this tin but...I used 2 amounts of muffin mixture [24 muffins worth]. I greased the tin and lined it with strips of greaseproof paper laid in a star shape, then filled the tin with the mixture to approx 3/4 full. I baked the cake at Gas Mark 4 for 1 hour. Left it in the tin for about 20 mins then turned it out to cool down. I iced it after a couple of days [butter icing and then fondant icing on top] and made a Minion cake for my daughters 5th birthday. She was very pleased with it. Thank you Lakeland :)
