We couldn’t believe how light these casserole dishes were when we first held them, in fact we had to keep picking them up just to double check! Looking for all the world like traditional, weighty cast iron, they’re actually made from cast aluminium, which is ultra light so they’re easy to handle, even when full of hot food. There’s no compromise on performance however as they feel solid and substantial in use – the extra-thick aluminium bodies are highly durable, offer quick and even heat distribution, have easy-clean, non-stick interiors and can even be used on gas, electric, ceramic and halogen hobs.
Oven safe to 260ºC.

Mason Cash Ultra-Light Casseroles
I bought the casserole mainly for roasting beef and chicken. I wanted something lightweight but durable and this absolutely fits the bill. It is excellent. Cooks brilliantly and is safe and easy to use. I love it!
