Very Inventive

I have used this product several times during the winter months and was really pleased with the results. My steak and kidney puddings were perfect and I was complimented on my cooking. I hope to use them this Christmas and make my own sponge or Christmas puddings.
The only downside I found were the handles do get quite hot and like previous customers, I had to use a large stockpot to get the best results. I also found the lid a little bit difficult to line up but I do think that was me more than the actual product.
Apart from that, it is a product I would definitely recommend.

Second use

I used this once at Christmas for a Christmas Pudding. Today I have used it for a Steak and Kidney Pudding. The lid refuses to budge, we have tried so hard to get it to come out the ring on the lid has broken off. We now have just vegetables for tea and a pudding stuck in a time capsule never to be seen again.

Shame about the handles

Yes, I agree with the other reviews. I had to dig out an old stock pot as the handles prevented the basin from going in to the steamer. I was lucky to have one. Not sure what else I would have done otherwise. Neat item though.

The 1litre pudding steamer will fit in to a 24cm casserole or stock pot.
