Lakeland's chopping boards: best on the block
The sturdy wooden mainstay of the kitchen... the chopping board. An essential it maybe, but with so many styles and feature-laden versions out there, it is perhaps the unsung hero of our kitchen kit. Some chopping boards are less than half a millimetre thick, tough and bendable for funnelling into pans and waste bins. For extra vigilant kitchen hygiene they can be colour-coded too, green for veg, red for meat - helping to prevent any cross-contamination. Hard-wearing chopping boards don't have to be big and clumsy. Knife-friendly propylene is non-slip and super skinny. Even rustic wood has been given some ultra modern features, like non-slip silicone feet for sure-footed chopping and grooves to catch the bits. We particularly love Bamboo boards.
