Silicone bakeware: a baker's flexible friend

Unlike traditional baking tins, reusable silicone gives bakeware a flexible future - after all, it can be used for cooking in the microwave as well as the oven, and can even go in the fridge and freezer too, giving you even more options. Silicone bakeware has been embraced by home cooks, and it's little wonder - non-stick, flexible, easy release and easy to clean, it makes baking so much easier. Thanks to its fantastic properties, nothing sticks and cakes simply pop out with ease, with no need for greasing or lining, so you can enjoy every last crumb. Incredibly heat-resistant, silicone bakeware conducts heat better than metal tins. Cakes cook quicker, and storing silicone bakeware is no problem either - squish them, squash them, roll them and fold them and they'll pop back into shape instantly. You can even stick them in the dishwasher when they've done their job! Everyday 'tins' have been given the silicone treatment, and loaf tins, muffin pans and baking trays can all be found in flexible form, but silicone also lends itself perfectly to dainty, detailed designs, so chocolate makers and jelly fans can make the most of this baking wonder too. One thing's for sure - super silicone bakeware is here to stay!
