Makes short work of weight loss shakes

I am currently following the Cambridge Weight Plan and take one of these "Blenderbottles" to work, as I can then discreetly mix my shake at my desk. It blends the shake perfectly and the little silver ball inside does a great job blasting away the powdery lumps - but mine has always leaked from the white stopper hinge and I found that a disappointment. It turns out that my blue lid actually had a tiny crack in it & this is why it has been leaking. I contacted Lakeland who kindly refunded me and I have replaced the shaker with another one that I bought in my local store. The staff there were so helpful and actually demonstrated the new shaker to me using some tap water, to prove that it wouldn't leak. I am very pleased with it, but I do wish that it was slightly smaller in diameter as I find it hard to grip the bottle to screw the lid on - apart from that a great item!

Bottle Bender

I had been recommended this Bottle Blender by a friend, as both of us are using the same diet, I had read the comments on here before I purchased it, and I was apprehensive with the 2 negative comments, but since trying the blender, I have dismissed those negative comments, and thought the recipients just weren't using it correctly. I think it's so easy to clean, and just perfect for diet soups and shakes, very handy if you are out on the go. You can take it anywhere, I plan to take it to the beach at the weekend. What a marvellous product. I'm off to buy another one, so I have 1 at work, and 1 at home. Thank you Lakeland.

Brilliant alternative ...

to all the faff of a stick blender! I think this is the best thing I have bought in ages - I use mine to make protein drinks with ice water, powder and double cream, and also to make thick batters from eggs and ground almonds to use as a base for a low carb "sponge" I can make over a low heat in a griddle pan. I agree that the top needs screwing on properly and the spout lid needs to be firmly clicked into place, but if that's done, then there are no escapes or spills. Easy to clean, and a good size to pop in a bag if out for the day. I cannot praise this item too highly.
Now, if I could only stop my husband hiding the metal spring away from the beaker itself, when he unloads the dishwasher, I would be laughing!
