Worked a treat
-
“I have to say I was sceptical about purchasing this product as I had used a well known brand several times on my oven with ok results. The oven wasn't horrific, but since moving we've tried to get it clean as the last people living there obviously never bothered! It has cleaned the oven up with relative ease, easy to put on(sticks to the roof of the oven even!) and no messy. It was also really nice to have something that doesn't smell. I do miss the bags for the racks and that would make life easier, but overall it's a good product. Just be a little patient and reapply it!”

“Although it was not as easy as it looks in the video it was great fun. I used Lakelands Meat Mincer and pasta maker to fill the skins and found the skins did not split as you had one hand turning the handle and the other holding the skin. Yes it is an expensive way of buying sausages but the satisfaction and the pleasure my family had eating them made it worth while.”

Delicious Yogu

“I have been using the yogurt maker every week for some years. I add three tablespoons of dried milk powder to 1 litre of UHT milk - either full cream, semi-skimmed or skimmed - together with two or three teaspoonfuls of starter saved from the previous batch. I store the starter in the freezer to ensure it remains fresh and have had to buy a commercial starter only a couple of times ever. It looks very runny once defrosted but it works. I store the yogurt a tall tub which seems to overcome the whey problem & allows me to make another batch before the previous one is finished. Great success”

Ideal!
-
“I'm trying to cut back on coffee - if I make a jugful I drink a jugful. So first thing in the morning I can now make just one perfect cup (erm... I make a jugful when I get into work though!) I've measured my favourite mug, 300 ml. But I like hot milk in my coffee so will put a splash of milk into the mug, 30 secs in microwave, then pop my mug under the coffee spout to add the coffee, tadaa! Easy to clean too. And thank goodness the flex and plug just sit there, I'm not expected to try to wind them under the coffee machine! Thank you”

“Purchased your telescopic duster after being recommended by a friend. Must admit what she said was true, it easily reaches all those horrible cobwebs and is great for delicate ornaments. Don't know how I managed before.”

Wonderful Toasties

“We bought this sandwich maker online, and picked it up from the store in Eastbourne, I have to say that the toasties I made where the best for a long time, ham, cheese, toms and onion, it closed fine, and washed even better, highly recommended”

careful use yields great results
-
“My first use of this tin was a disappointment; the victoria sponges stuck to the sides and getting the bottoms off was equally difficult. I read through the reviews, and have adopted three suggestions with vastly improved results: 1- line the bottoms with 1lb wax discs. The bottoms then slide off straight out of the oven with minimum fuss. 2 - liberally grease the pans. I don't have cake release so used butter. 3 - leave for two minutes after cooking then turn out. The results are impressive, but for the price it is a lot of prep. My similarly priced analon muffin tin has never been greased.”

Gruesomely brilliant
-
“I wasn't sure how much of a difference this product would make to slow-draining water, as I'd thought using a drain guard would mean that there wasn't much hair down the sinkhole. What came out when we used the weasel was GRIM. But oddly fascinating to get rid of 5 years of grimness in 20 seconds. Very easy to use (just click one part into another and click the yellow sheath into place to secure), clean disposal, saved us unneccesary cost & hassle.”

Great Coffee
-
“I bought this machine nearly a month ago on the strength of it's specifications and the reviews I read. The grinder is no more noisy than the electric grinder I used before. It brews a hot carafe of coffee quickly, and the hot plate really keeps my “top up” hot. The “1-4 cup option” works well if you only need a small amount. I had to experiment to get the right strength of coffee, depending on the beans used. This is a first rate, compact, easy to use machine. It is easy to clean and a bargain at the price!”

perfect for one cup of coffee
-
“This little machine is perfect for making one cup of filter coffee. It is easy to use and economical as you only make as much coffee as you need. There is only one minor problem of using the cup to pour the water into the machine as it may spill. Use a measuring jug and there are no water spillage problems.”

“My children were given these as an Easter present. Superb idea as an alternative to chocolate! They were easy to use and surprisingly easy to clean too. Yes, as others have said, a recipe would have been a useful addition, but I too borrowed Katrina's (Thank-you!), though I only used half the amount and still had 24 biscuits. I used buttercream icing and a blob of strawberry ice cream sauce instead of jam. They were delicious and my 4 year old daughter was delighted with the results!”

Paid for itself very quickly

“Great gadget. I had saved all my expired batteries for recycling and decided to have a little check as to there capacity. I was very surprised that some were nearly full although not powerful enough for there initial use they could be reused for less powerful items. Some Batteries are a close fit but if you insert at the 'springy' end first that seems to help.”

Lakeland you really do think of everything!!! Thank You
-
“Eek I love this product so much . My tips are: *Use cake release spray *A cooks ring to keep the pan still on tray *low & slow on oven temp & time (to stop uneven cooking or burning, its worth the wait) *leave to cool for a while before turning out onto wire rack”

“I am a fan of the SonicScrubber so I was really pleased when this accessory appeared - ACCESS being the key word here. I don't like balancing on ladders or stools but now I'm able to reach up to the top of the shower tiles and other high places. If you too, are a fan of Sonic Scrubbing, I would say this is an absolute must-have!”

Dream Product
-
“I felt I had to review this item as its getting mixed reviews. I own 4 of these pans in all different sizes and I will not use any other product now. I do use release spray on the pans, I will spray the tin then insert the base and spray again, if you grease the sides first it helps the base move freely. Once cake is baked leave to cool for a little while then use a tin of beans ( any tin ) , place the pushpan on the tin and hold sides and push down. Since using these tins I have not had any baking mishaps. I use these tins all the time and they never fail me, and they still look like new :o)”

Its not wobbly!

“When I first built this its was fine then the second time it was wonky and all my cake pops were leaning to the side but if you take off the top tier and flip it over they stand up straight again. If you push the holes through before you use it the first time it makes it even eaiser to use!! Dont be put off buying this by reviews of people who didn't build it correctly!”

It works well!

“I bought this bread pan because I thought it sounded like a good idea. However I was not so sure when I then read the reviews. I took on board some tips from other reviewers and am pleased to say, with a bit of experimentation, I'm very pleased with the results. Key points: oil the pan; prove in the pan; put in cold or 150c oven and then whack up to target temp. Yet to try putting straight into "hot" oven? Loaf tips out a few minutes cooling without any problem. Some of my best loaves so far :-)”

“Saw CBB and bought it. On way home read box and regretted it. Too many potential problems and breaks all baking rules. But had a go. Now delighted and thought it might be helpful to pass on my method. Made dough in Panasonic machine with 400g flour. Shaped into ball, rolled in semolina and placed into semolina'd CBB. Put into cold oven, set to 50 and 5 mins. Then 100 & 5 mins, 150 & 5 mins, then 230 & 20 mins. Then turned down to 200 for 10 mins. Bread came out of cold baker clean as a whistle and the bread was superb. Fan oven used. Sewers note - I slashed top with a cutter!”

Great little gadget
-
“I bought this a few weeks ago and have only managed to find the time to use it once. I think I need a second pair of hands to hold the bag while I fill it [lol], but loved the results. They weren't as good as the picture on the website here, but for a first attempt I was pretty chuffed with myself, particularly as I'm not that great at decorating anyway. I'm looking forward to having another go when I get the chance. I have tried once before to do 2 coloured icing by putting 2 different coloured icings in the same bag but the results weren't as good as this idea. Thanks Lakeland!!”
