good but bad elastic

I have had mine for long at all but the elastic on my smaller one is no longer elastic! Other than that they are a really good product but the elastic lets it down.

I bought 6 of these as I thought they were a great invention.
However the elastic has failed on them all which makes storage difficult. Pity otherwise brilliant.

Stronger elastic Mother!

Innovative pop up mechanism, great size but the elastic is feeble. Don't stay flat at all & I've resorted to using clothes pegs to hold them down for storage. Such a shame as they're a great idea. When I queried the lack of elastic oomph the Saleslady in Peterborough shop said it was because it was the display model & the elastic had had a lot of use - ummmmmm, I don't think so as mine failed miserably once I'd taken them out the wrapper and hadn't even used them! Sorry Lakelands:(
