Great idea shoddy build

I was thrilled when I received this as a Christmas present Dec 08 but alas as similar customers have posted mine fell apart just after 2 days and I lost the button that lights the eyes. Its a lovely looking item but faulty I'm afraid.

Cheesy smell for mouse

Like the lady above my mouse fell to bits within the week. I replaced it as it was a present and the same thing happened. Nice idea shoddy workmanship, I am writing with a complaint to head office as this is not the first Lakeland product to disappoint recently and I worry a quality slide is starting! I paid the full price but even at the sale price one would expect the thing to last a bit longer than that!

My daughter bought this keyring for me and I thought it was lovely, not too bulky or heavy, and torch useful. Unfortunately, first time I went out the item fell to bits! Luckily I heard the metal clatter on ground so was able to scramble around and collect the pieces. I then put it all back together again and it was then that I realised that the keyring was faulty as the screw keeping it altogether did not tighten into the fitting and it keeps coming loose. Hence not much good for anything as when the screw come undone the mouse loses it's bottom and falls to bits!!
Replacement arrived safely from Lakeland - many thanks - this time my mouse is up to scratch! Thank you for excellent customer service once again.
