4 stars out of 5 Very good

by Mrs Lewis

I have had my yoghurt maker for a couple of years. At first, I struggled to get the right thickness - it was runnier than I wanted. However, a couple of tablespoons of powdered milk put that right, and I now produce delicious yoghurt time after time. I have just bought a second bowl to deal with the demand from my family! I agree with other reviewers - the spoon is a nuisance, but that is the only small gripe.

4 stars out of 5 Brilliant yoghurt but an annoying design flaw

by Gillian

Got this for Xmas and it works really well & makes loads of lovely yoghurt with little effort. One annoying feature though is the 'integrated spoon' which is utterly superfluous and just makes washing the bowl harder (because of the ridges inside the round container to accommodate the spoon). 5 stars apart from the spoon!

5 stars out of 5 Amazingly durable, great for expats

by Lisa

I have been living in Sri Lanka and Thailand for the last 5 years, and found in Sri Lanka that getting yogurt - my staple breakfast food - was nearly impossible. I ordered this maker and have been using it up to 3 times a week for the last 4,5 years. It is extremely durable, and makes fantastic yogurt. Now I am so spoiled that I wouldn't even want to buy yogurt if I could! I find that the yogurt is best if left for more than 10 hours. I use UHT full milk as my base, with 1-2 spoons of store-bought (and gooey and unpleasant) yogurt. Luckily, what I get doesn't at all have the consistency of the store-bought yogurt, which is almost elastic. Instead, I get creamy smooth yogurt, like everyone else has described. I have been less successful with low fat (semi-skimmed) UHT milk, which tends to be very watery. Of course, if I had the patience I could strain it, but that would require me to wait to eat the yogurt - too much of a challenge!

Magic Eraser Block

5 stars out of 5 Best item EVER!!!

by Lucy

This is my must-have buy from Lakeland. It gets scuff marks off walls, it just gets rid of any mark you really didn't think would go...on any surface.
