Smart mop

Having read the reviews I felt confident that this mop would be a good buy. However, I am very disappointed with the mop. Yes, it doesn't require any detergent to get the floor clean and the telescopic handle is fine, the floor does dry quickly, but the microfleece mop head when wet, does not provide enough substance and the plastic part that the fibres attach to scratch against the floor, which is really annoying. I have kept the mop and I lightly skim it over my floor to dry it. This would definately not be a good buy if you had a nice wooden floor, luckily mine is ceramic so no damage. Sorry Lakeland I am usually pleased with your goods.

Great but bad handle

Like other reviewers I bought this mop specifically for use on an oak floor and it is brilliant. It leaves very little water behind and gets into all the corners and generally does a fantastic job.
One problem that we did have was that we couldn't get the handle to go up and down easily and my husband ended up breaking the mop. It hurt both our hands trying to operate the telescopic arm, wouldn't always fix into place and was almost impossible to get down once fixed up! Is it me? Going to buy it again and just leave it in a permanent extended condition although the fact it went smaller was very useful to me as it fitted neatly in a small cupboard.

excellent qualtiy

bought this mop about a year ago now. About fivemonths ago I bought a replacement head for when it inevitabily wore out. Here we are then a year later and the new mop head is still in its wrapper and the original mop still looks as good as new. A really good
quality item. I use it regularly and hope you continue to stock them. You never know in twenty years I may need to buy another.
