I have had one of these eggs in the bottom corner of a wardrobe for 2 months. The panels have turned pink and returned to blue after "cooking", so the product is not faulty and the colour change leads me to believe that something is happening! However, the damp problem is not solved. I think it's slightly better with the egg but it's always hard to tell when you're looking every day. And now that I'm aware of the damp problem I have taken other measures such as moving the clothes around which may have contributed to the improvement. I'm satisfied that the egg is at least doing something, unlike a different moisture trap that I bought from Lakeland at the same time.

Bought this product months ago to try and help a condensation problem in a corner of a bedroom. I placed the egg next to the problem source and although the pads change colour,( which leads you to believe something must be working), I can honestly say that it has done absolutely nothing to help solve the problem. This is the most useless item that I think I have ever purchased - save your money.

Purchased this item from a local store last week and I am yet to see the product work????? Sat in a puddle on a window ledge and still the product is still bone dry? and my room still damp.
