Crock-a doodle-Doo

Bought first crock three years ago and it proved a great addition to the kitchen worktop.
Has been used to dispose of all sorts, from veg peelings to t-bags. Unfortunately, got broken recently, due to mishandling, nothing to do with crock, so has now been buried, with full military honours for services rendered.
Hence, now back to purchase new crock, which we hope will last for, at least, another three years!! Thanks Lakeland:-)

I bought this shortly before Christmas & I'm delighted with it. It works well, no smell, it looks stylish in my kitchen & the size is handy, big enough but not cumbersome. Wish I had bought it a long time ago.

Broken lid

My partner bought me this crock as the one left by our local authority was very ugly! I absolutely loved it but sadly, during it's second visit to the dishwasher, the lid broke clean in two. As it was washed on the same shelf as my long stem glasses, I just cannot understand why. Is there a manufactoring fault with the lid that you are aware of? Really disappointing, tried to glue it, but it does not look good.
