Most of us have now embraced steaming as a healthy and convenient way of cooking fish, vegetables and meat, but Morphy Richards’ new, innovative Intellisteam takes it to the next level. Unlike conventional steamers where baskets are placed on top of each other and timings are difficult to control, Intellisteam has three individually controlled compartments, meaning whole meals for up to four people can be perfectly cooked and ready for the table together.
And it’s so easy to use – Philippa, from our Kitchenware Team, was positively rapturous! She put salmon in one compartment, noodles in another and vegetables in the third, then set the pre-programmed digital timers so that the food with the longest cooking time automatically started steaming first. Everything was ready at the same time, and the results were delicious. And cleverly, if the food’s ready but you’re not, the auto keep-warm function keeps everything ticking over for up to 40 minutes.
