Place up to a kilo of freshly cut chips into the cooking pan, then measure your preferred oil with the scoop provided, pour it over, and set the timer. Patented technology circulates hot air around your fries, whilst the mixing paddle evenly disperses the oil. FANTASTIC FRIES

This is a brilliant invention. I have used this to make excellent chips on many occasions now. Have not had any issues. The chips are crispy and have a great flavour. The recipes included work wonders and allow you to invent new variations. I always now cook chips with olive oil and double the volume for extra flavour. Chips need to be evenly sized. Only negative is the quiet timer.

The Amazing Actifry

I still don't understand how or why this machine works, but it does - incredibly well. It really can make enough chips for 2 teenage lads with hollow legs, with only a tablespoon of oil. And I no longer have to feel guilty about having chips on the menu :-)
It also cooks vegetables, sausages, chicken drumsticks & much more. The recipe book is clear & easy to follow & the chicken with pineapple is a new family favourite.
I resisted buying the actifry for many months, not thinking it could possibly live up to its hype, but it does.

Simply Brilliant

The Actifry has to be the best invention in 2008 , it makes great chips, stir fries, and other innovative methods of cooking potatoes.
No mess, NO SMELL and next to no fat.
As an invention I rate it nearly as high as a SKY Plus TV recorder......certainly for ease of use and the quality of the product it produces.
Very , very easy to keep clean after use.
