Sterilising these bottles

The answer to the problem of the melting stopper is to remove the whole stopper before putting the bottle in the oven. Taking care, these stoppers can be removed easily without bending the wire. They can be replaced (using heat protection) after the bottle has been filled.

Gorgeous bottle

I love the shape and look of the bottle - it is really good quality. The only thing that is a problem is that you can't sterilise the bottles in the oven because of the stoppers.

Lovely but awful lids

These look really pretty on the website and in the catalogue, but after reading the reviews I was cautious and only bought one. It still is pretty, but the plastic lid is terribly naff and really detracts from the looks of the bottle. I'd happily buy more if they came with proper porcelain lids.
