To perforate or not to perforate, that is the question!”
Although the perforations are pretty good I have found that they do not always seem to tear cleanly, but that may be my fault for sometimes being in a tearing hurry! I have decided that I prefer to choose my own length required each time and so that, along with the fact that my husband just cannot master the use of perforated film at all (!), has helped me decide to choose the ordinary non-perforated roll of clingfilm in future.

Oh dear what have you done?”
by Jenny Parker
I have used this product for many years and was happy to pay more for a thicker cling film that is easier to use and more effective. I have recently bought 2 rolls - one of each size and I am spending about 5 minutes trying to find the end and in doing so make holes or tears in the piece I want to use! It is so frustrating. I've always tried to fold the edge after use but this is no longer very helpful. I'm going to throw them away as soon as I have a replacement but my problem is where can I find one of the quality your cling film used to be? Please let me know if you start to make this how it used to be.

I think this is just great. Although it seems expensive for a roll compared to supermarket cling film, its a huge long roll that lasts for absolutely ages, so in the end works out cheaper. Its great quality, seems slightly thicker than most I've used so it doesn't wrinkle and crinkle and is easy to get off the roll. The perforations are well spaced-for example, one sheet covers a dinner plate securely. This is definitely one for repeat purchasing!

I find the perforations are spaced too far apart consequently wasting a lot when usually only a small amount is needed. Very disappointed.

I love the clingfilm but could not work out how to get into the box. There seems to be no way to open it without destroying the packaging. A flap on the box would surely be better?

Cling Film Battle”
by Mrs Minton
Well I have been using this cling film for thirteen or more years. And thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, until recently. The last two rolls I bought I binned after numerous battles by my husband and myself trying to get the stuff off the rolls. It seems to come of in small tangled chunks or not come off at all. A total waste of money. This used to be an excellent product that came off perfectly right down to the last piece.

I first tried your perforated cling film 11 years ago when I came back to England from Kenya where I had been running hotels and catering establlishments. . It is worth every penny spent and lasts and lasts. There is never a day when I don't use it at least 20 times and that is just for the two of us! Thank you so much for this great product. How I wish I had had it years ago!

An absolute must,”
by Mr Carruthers
This is the item that I first bought in a Lakeland shop nearly a year ago and one roll lasted that long (which definitely justifies the premium over normal cling film). I could never envisage going back to the regular kind. This is just so easy.

Brilliant cling film”
by Clare Chad-Daniels
I have a small drawer in my kitchen (external measurement = 400mm wide) which, if I cut off a bit of the cardboard roll holder from each end, fits perfectly inside the drawer. I can then pull it over the drawer door and take as much as I want, pull it off and leave just enough over the top of the door to pull some more off next time! Brilliant!

Absolutely brilliant stuff, would not like to be without this perforated cling film it saves so much time and is so easy to use. I always leave approx 2 inches off the roll after tearing and then there is no problem at all in finding the new end. My son says I should have shares in lakeland as I am always singing the praises of different products.

Easy to find the end”
When you tear off a sheet, make sure you tear it leaving a good 2 inches spare, free of the roll. As you tear, push the spare end back on itself, leaving you an end to get hold of next time. I've NEVER had a problem with this product, and it has saved endless messing around with cutters.

I slip a button under the corner of the next sheet so it is easy to see and pick up - hope this helps

Finding the End”
by Mrs Spencer-Jones
I love this cling film, and have found my own perfect way of using it. I have a drawer especially for film, foil and greasproof. I leave the clingfilm at the front and pull the end out so it is permanently out of the top of the drawer, ready for use. When I need a piece, I pull the end, and as the drawer is made of dark wood, I can see where the perforation line is, and hey presto, take what I need and leave just enough out of the drawer for the next time. Even easier if you happen to be working at the piece of worktop directly above the drawer. I have never had a problem yet with this method (unless of course, hubby has been at it!!) - for some reason, he just does not seem to find the perforated line, so often find about a foot hanging out of the drawer, rather than just an inch. But for the rare occasions he uses it, I will forgive him this.

Am I missing something!”
by Dilys Delarue
I agree with other reviews, this is a great idea - but once used, how do I find the end each time I want to use it? I purchased the small size and it doesn't come in a box so the film clings to itself once used and it's a devil of a job to find the end next time. I have been roughly folding over the end so that I can find it. I should be grateful if you could please tell me if there is a secret to keeping the end easily visible.

This cling film is the best things since sliced bread - until you get down to the very end of the roll - then you have to hunt for the perforations!

This is the best thing i ever discovered in the lakeland range! it saves so much time when wrapping sandwiches or covering bowls to go in the fridge. No tangles, no splits, and no cut fingers off the box edge! you just tear off the sheet/sheets without any trouble. I've found it lasts a long time because you don't waste any trying to sort out the roll like i used to with standard cling. i even lost the box on my last roll and it wasn't a problem because you don't need the box to cut it. Fabulous!

sick of fighting with cling film?”
by Ms Zelda Turner
i was! so i was more than delighted when i found this fantastic cling film roll. Certainly it's pricier than many 'shop bought' cling film, but in this case paying the extra cost is *definately* economical in the long run, because i can't tell you how many cling films i've binned due to them getting all tangled up and twisted. Now i wouldn't purchase any other cling film, it's just that good!
