Finger areas too hardby Catherine

2 stars out of 5

Anti Bac Gloves

When I first bought these gloves, they were great but within a week or two the finger area hardened which became uncomfortable. Gloves have now ended up in the bin!

Found these gloves very thin and not at all robust. I started to use them and a hole appeared in one of the fingers during the first week of wearing. I don't think it was caused by my nails as they are very soft and short. Will not buy any more of this product. I much prefer the heavier ones which are lasting very well and have not yet gone hard as per another reviewer.

The fingers area hardenedby San

At first I really love these gloves as they're softer than the Dermaluxe Washing-Up Gloves. But like the Dermaluxe gloves, these gloves have became hard after a month. It's a shame as I like the fact that they don't give a rubbery smell to your fingers. I really wish Lakeland could sort that problem out as their rubber gloves are truly good and hard wearing and I would never swap to another brand if the fingers didn't go hard.

I was disappointed with these gloves (although they felt good on the hands) as they developed a hole after a very short time. I am going back to the Dermaluxe gloves, which are far better value.

I have always ended up with very dry hands when washing up or scrubbing floors, but cannot bear the smell of latex gloves and vinyl ones were always too flimsy and short, so I just put up with dry hands and a big hand cream bill! Then I spotted these and the plain Dermalux gloves and just hoped they had the durability of standard latex gloves without the rubbery pong. And they do. I think they also feel a lot nicer than latex gloves and I am delighted with them. Thank you Lakeland.

I have hand eczema and was given these gloves in my xmas stocking! I can't believe how much more longer (like 5 times) they lasted than ordinary yellow gloves, using bleach and strong cleaning agents just didn't seem to wear them out. They are so comfortable and great value for money. My hands are better for them.

We have found these excellent in our household - durable and suitable for those with eczema. They last longer than flock-lined gloves and don't get smelly and mouldy. However, a larger size would suit some members of the family. The 'large' is not that large and won't even fit my tall daughter's hands. So bring on the next size up please!

Are there bigger ones?by Mr Davies

I don't consider my hands to be particularly large, but I find the yellow-tipped size a very tight fit. They do their job very well once on, but I get very close to fetching the pliers when it comes to getting them off. Are there similar gloves available in an ever larger size? (My hands are 11cm across at their widest point, and are 20cm long from wrist to the tip of the longest finger.)

These have completely changed the state of my skin on my hands for the better. I have dermatitis and could not use any latex products or any starch lined gloves. I can now protect my hands from detergents etc. Please continue, I have not seen these products anywhere else.

Great!by Kerry

These are lovely gloves, work really well and give a comfortable fit, much better than regular gloves that seem like youve got plastic bottles on the ends of your fingers. As lightweight as disposable gloves and as heavy duty as normal ones. Highly reccomended!

How long should they last?by Mrs Macdonald

I was recently given a pair of these gloves. I used them twice a day, every day to wash-up, for about 3 weeks. I thought they were wonderful and well worth buying again. Then one day I noticed that my left had was wet. At first I thought water had splashed in, then I realised there was a tiny hole in one of the fingers and the thumb! I was very disappointed! I usually get two or more months out of my previous brand. Maybe I had a faulty pair, but I don't think I'll be buying them myself!

Great for sensitive skinby Ms Woolridge

Just used these for the first time. I have a bad reaction to latex gloves, particularly the flock-lined variety. These seem a very superior product based on first use: unlined, very soft, easy to feel what you are washing and I've had no adverse skin reaction.
