Anywhere Guest Beds

We bought three single beds to help our grandson move into his flat. They are very comfortable and we were impressed with their quality. Moving about on them is noisy but a small price to pay for such comfort and convenience. Our grandson used one for a sofa for a few days before his proper sofa arrived. Easy to erect, pack away and store. A good standby for many years to come.

Anywhere Guest Beds

After a few uses found hole in bed. Contacted Lakeland and no bother with a replacement. It was sent out the next day. Faults happen but response perfect. Thanks.

Anywhere Guest Beds

We pumped up the double bed and our guest went off to sleep for the night. Then 2 hours into their sleep it deflated. We pumped it back up and 2 hours later it deflated again. We were very disappointed - we bought this because we are short on space and this appeared to be the perfect solution. Lakeland have been very good about refunding our money but that doesn't help our guest being deprived of sleep and a bed and our embarressment!

We have abandoned our second guest bed. The first was returned as it wouldn't stay inflated from the start, the second developed a puncture somewhere after its third outing. Disillusioned, we haven't bothered to find out where. And you do have to be an origami expert to get it all back into its bag. On the plus side, we found it easy to use and our guests said it was surprisingly comfortable for an inflatable - just as long as you're not in it in the middle of the night when it goes down.

Anywhere Guest Beds

I purchased the single bed version to use when a spare bed was needed. I found that it was very awkward to assemble and the pump took a while to "figure out". The couple of occasions it was used, my guest was not too impressed. Perhaps it is more suited to a child rather than an adult. Also trying to return everything to the storage bag was difficult and I resorted to storing the pump in a separate bag which defeats the purpose somewhat. Needless to say I have not used the product again because of the awkwardness of its assembly. I normally am delighted with Lakeland products but on this occasion was very disappointed.

Anywhere Guest Beds

I bought the anywhere bed for guests to use. I have been disappointed in it because although friends have reported it to be comfortable it takes a long time to inflate because the supplied pump is fiddly to use as it does not have a hose. Regarding storage the container is just a bit too small resulting in the pump having to be stored separately. Considering the cost I am disappointed..

The bed is reasonably easy to assemble. I put the mattress inside the cover before inflating it. The pump is fast, but is very noisy. This is a bit inconvenient as I am very short on space (which is why I bought the bed) and went to put the bed up last thing at night for my guests, but the noise is loud enough that I worry about waking the neighbours. The bed is comfortable and I'm happy that I can put friends up on it. I add a quilted mattress cover and sheets, so rustling has not been a problem. Deflating the bed took some working out, as the fan will reverse, but the instructions are not at all clear! Getting the bed into the bag again is quite hard. Finally storing the bag is not as easy as I had hoped. It's not particularly easy to move around, despite the wheels. It's still quite bulky. That said, it has worked well in its primary function of enabling me to give guests a place to sleep.

As with the other reviews this bed needs quite a lot of room to assemble but once up and ready is more comfortable than other inflatable beds I have used. It is quite noisy but slipping a thin diver between the mattess and cover seems to lessen the noise slightly. It does take quite a lot of effort to get it back in the case and so I store the case seperately from the mattress which defeats the object slightly.

Anywhere Guest Beds

We had guests coming to stay so thought this would be a great temporary bed to set up for us in the toddlers room. Firstly, its not as easy to put up as we thought and almost needs double the length of the bed-space to slide the mattress in(see other reviews). Secondly - it is the 'noisiest' bed i have ever come across. The mattress slides into a thin, almost 'plasticky' gold cover, which made a loud 'crunchy' noise everytime either of us moved. It disturbed both of us and kept me awake half the night. The 2nd night, we decided to let the two 'light-weight' toddlers sleep there (thinking perhaps that this might lessen the awful noise). I even put a blanket over the mattress cover as an extra cushion to muffle out the sounds of movement - it made no difference, and yet again - another sleepless night. Thankfully, I returned the bed without any fuss (great Lakeland service by the way). I have used numerous airbeds in the past, but this was by far, the most uncomfortable I have slept in-largely due to the noise (though it might not matter to those that are heavy-sleepers!). I still think it is a great concept esp the raised frame - but perhaps the manufacturers should think about changing the cover and using some softer fabric.
