Not what I was expecting”
by Mrs irvin
After simmering away for longer than the recommended time, the top of the egg was still gloopy. Had to ladle hot water on top, then drain off when egg was cooked. Have had a go 4 times now - holds shape well, that's about the only good point.

A note from the team: We're sorry to hear you've not had good results when using your poach pod. For best results customers have suggested to lightly grease the pods with a little butter and to keep the saucepan lid on during poaching to ensure the egg poaches evenly. We'll be in touch to help
Poach pods - excellent”
by Mrs Lakin
I have had these poach pods for a while now and wanted to say how brilliant they are. Each time they produce perfect poached eggs with relative ease. I would highly recommend them as a purchase.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry the pods are taking along time to cook. The pods should be placed in water that has been brought to the boil and then lowered to a simmer. It's also important to keep the lid on the pan. I hope this helps but I'll be in touch shortly.
Money well worth spent”
Bought the Poachpods and they really do what they say perfect poached eggs just as I like them, but do remember to put a lid on the saucepan when poaching as the tops of the eggs will not cook eitherwise. Perfect results everytime

bought this product a while ago and, unfortunately, not up to the Lakeland standard I have come to expect. Maybe will try the new poachets product and see if they are better.

At last excellent poached eggs!”
This is a brilliant invention - so simple and it works. Grease pods well, cook for 5 minutes and hey presto poached eggs like your mum used to make!!
