So simple but so effective. I wasn't disappointed and I recommend this product to anyone wanting to create burgers quickly. All I did was follow the instructions and hey presto a lovely burger and healthy because I chose extra lean meat and added my own ingredients and no binding required with egg. VALUE FOR MONEY.

We have had one of these for years and years. The children loved making these when they were young. One of the best products around. I hope the new design is as good as the old

I've had this burger press for years now and love it. So easy to use, even for filled burgers. I put half the meat in, the filling in the center followed by the rest of the meat. Still works great even after years of use.

Just received this a few days ago and love it. I use a food processor to grind up ingredients. I then make burgers in the press and refrigerate for a couple of hours before grilling or frying. I already have the smaller Lakeland burger press, but think this one is perfect for adult sized burgers!

Burgers Made Fun!”
by Mrs Angela Slater
What a fantastic gadget for inspiring children to cook! My 10 year old son took charge, selecting a recipe, mixing up the wholesome ingredients and pressing the burgers which looked beautiful. They didn't fall apart as the mixture had a good consistency and we pressed them firmly. However, they did have to be turned quite delicately when cooking. There was real pride in what was produced - a really delicious meal for the family and the pleasure of knowing exactly what had gone into the food on our plates. We can't wait to make more!

Burger (good) Press!”
by Julia Irving
I've had this quarter pound burger press for 6 months now - there is a knack to it. Fill the cup, turn it onto a plate, hold down the body of the press with one hand and put some serious pressure on the plunger with the other. Hey ho - perfect burgers that stand up to grilling, frying, freezing and even the attentions of my four year old attempting to pick them up! Wonderful - what a freezer filling time saving gadget!

Product Not So Good”
by Mrs Gillian Widdicombe
I had expected this burger press to be really good in fact a improvement on the old smaller one I already have. I was a bit wary as the the reviews for this press were not all favourable. The burgers looked ok when I put the meat in but fell apart when they came out of the press. I tried using a binding agent but this did not work either. It was a complete waste of money and so are the Cellophane dividers. I have now reverted to using my old press which is far Superior. I am very disappointed with this product. I would give this press no star at all but I have to give it one star unfortunately!

Haven't quite got the hang of it yet ...”
I've just used this for the first time. I used 2 of the recipes in the little booklet. The beefburgers came out okish - but they seem to expand as I push them out, making them thinner and wider. I cooked them on my grill, I don't think they would have survived on the BBQ - too crumbly. They tasted delicious though :) I also did the chicken ones. These came out very wet and when I pressed them out they were very wide and thin. I ended up just patting them into shape with my hands - which kind of defeats the object of buying the press. Again, absolutely delicious but wouldn't survive a BBQing. What am I doing wrong?

No more disappointment trailing round shops looking for the perfect burger. By making your own you know exactly what is in it & with the wax discs supplied its perfect burgers every time. You can also experiment with different flavours too.

Great till it cracked”
by Mrs Curtis
This is a well loved item in my house, sadly it has a crack around the top, it has been washed by hand I suppose it's over worked, shame as only had it around a year. Had to stop using it as dirt/food was getting in the crack and not safe. Would have rated it 5 stars before now only 1. Shame as only just bought more wax discs a few weeks ago.

Quarter Pounder Burger Press”
I am so impressed with this bit of Kit. I have made meat, turkey and fish burgers and everyone, without fail, has commented on how delicious they are. Just press against a hard flat surface then release - it couldn't be easier. If you burgers are falling apart, it is the mixture and not the press that is at fault. I think most of my friends have bought one and only wish I could have got commission

Great piece of kit - create your burger mixture, pop into this little gadget (make sure it's well packed in), turn over push and the perfect patties come out!! Love this and having often bought toys for the kitchen and not really used them, this is great. RE reviews below about burgers falling apart - that's the recipe at fault, not the product!

This product is fantastic”
by Paul Baker
This product is fantastic. Not only do i use it for BBQ season but for general burger making when not having a BBQ. I'm ordering this product again as somebody (probably my wife) lost the lid part. If you find the burger breaks up while cooking then simply compact it in your hands before placing it in the press that way you get a perfect shape and they stay in one piece This is a must by and i cannot be without it.

Great for BBQ Season”
Ok, it's taken me a while to get round to writing a review for this. I have now owned one for 4 years. Unlike some gadgetts that sit in the cupboard and gather dust, this gets used on a regular basis, especially when BBQ season starts. I now get invited to peoples BBQ parties just so I can bring along some homemade burgers. Don't think you need to stick to beef either. I make Pork and Lemon, Lamb and Mint, Salmon and Courgette, Vegetable, Chicken and Leek. The only limit is your imagination.

I prefer my burgers thinner. With the quarter pounder they are the perfect size, but I found that if I turned it upside down and held it on a flat surface it pressed fine and stayed together while I cooked them.

Quarter Pound Burger Press”
by Dianne France
A great product but please, I think you used to do a smaller version which I would love as I would like to make smaller burgers than quarter pounders. Any chance?

This is an outstanding item of value and uses, not only does it make wonderful burgers, but you can also use it to make leftovers into easy portions for one person (eg mash potato, bubble and squeak). Freeze them and defrost as needed. Brilliant.

Great value for money”
I have young children and not a lot of time. this is a great quick way to make burgers that stay together and cook really nicel and are very tasty (even if I say so myself!) If you press too hard it will ooze out but you don't need to! My children all love using it too. it is a mess free way to make a healthy meal - chicken, fish, lamb, beef or anything other kind of burger!

I've used this for the first time tonight and found it quite easy to use. My other half was impressed they actually looked like burgers (I'm not the best cook in the world) lol ~ I think they are probably good for the newer cook, rather than the more experienced

Had a first visit to your shop in Peterborough today brilliant .Burger Press we bought was very good dont agree with other reviewes as a ex retired butcher .your other customers had their burger mix wrong you must have a binding agent i.e,egg or breadcrumbs this will bind the meat when cooking . The burger press is more than adequate for domestic use and priced fairly. nice to see proper staff in a shop very friendly and helpful thank you very much
