Good texture but unpleasant taste”
I tried the white bread and was impressed by how easy it was to make and by the texture, which is more like that of real bread than other gluten-free products. However, the cooked product has an unpleasant taste and after-taste so not sure I will bother with it again.

Average- will stick to shop bought gluten free bread”
I bought the meals and grains bread mix to try, as at this price it would be cheaper than buying ready-made. I used the first packet to make a loaf and the second to make pizza. However, I was disappointed on both counts. I'll admit I don't have the Laucke bread tin advertised on the packet. I found that this product smells really odd when mixing, though this does diminish on cooking. It is extremely thick and gluey which makes it difficult to handle. My loaf did not rise enough to consider it a 'loaf' of bread and I did not like the taste of either item. Sorry, I won't be purchasing again.

I have coeliac disease and don't usually bother with gluten free bread as it tends to be absolutely dire. I discovered this product recently and it is absolutely fabulous. It actually tastes like bread!! It also makes divine toast. Thank you Lakeland! xx

gluten free bread”

Works perfectly well in a breadmaker if you use a 'quick' setting which just gives one knead/rise cycle.

My Mum bought me this to try! And how amazing. No more powdery, chalky, gloopy bread. This is amazing! Perfect bread both times. Tastes as it should and very quick and easy to use. Add water mix leave cook. No mess, no fuss. What a magical box this is. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I can thoroughly recommend this product. I had given up baking my own GF bread, as it was no better than the supermarket stuff, so why bother? This has the doughy texture of proper bread when it is cooked (even though it starts as a batter). Keeps and freezes really well too.

I tried this mix for the first time recently and it really does live up to expectations. It's easy to make and is so much better than the ready baked ones in the supermarkets. My daughter loved it. Give it a try.

In common with the other reviewer of this product, I too am intolerant to wheat and yeast. This product is very good. Soft white and multigrain bread that is easy to prepare. Although shop bought gluten free breads have improved, this stays soft and has a pleasant texture that does not dry and crumble. As it is also yeast free, I can have more than 2 slices a week. It keeps well for about 3 days out of the fridge. I usually keep half in the fridge. The mix is quite heavy if you are doing it by hand (about 2.5mins of stirring). Give it a try - it's good!

Thank you so very, very much.”
Thank you so very, very much Lakeland for bringing us this product. Being intollerant to yeast as well as wheat has meant I been unable to have any bread for a few years now. I made the "special white" yesterday and can't recommend it highly enough. At last I can have a proper sandwich and not just sit and watch others eating. Thank you again.
