Brilliant on my Lofti Drying Rack”
I use these on my Lofti Drying Rack to stop small & lightweight items falling off. They are especially good for socks.

Good but not great”
These are extremely practical and handy. I mostly use them to secure my husband's heavy 36" leg jeans on the line. However, I have scored them down as they rust very easily. After one unexpected downpour all my standard pegs were rust free but the metal parts of these were quite orange. I had to clean them very carefully before using again and I am concerned they would stain the laundry if it got caught it the rain.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry that your confidence in these pegs has gone and will be in touch shortly.
Mega Pegs are superb for keeping your beach towels from slipping off sun beds when relaxing on a Caribbean beach! They stay put and you can recognise your bed - lots of people are envious.

To hold towels on windy cruise ships!”
My mum wanted me to order these because they'd seen other passengers using them to hold towels on sunbeds on windy cruise ships! Hopefully my mum won't break her finger again (tucking a towel in)!!!

All our family take these with us when we cruise. They are great for keeping towels on sunbeds as they are the right size to clip onto the sides of the beds. My daughter uses them to attatch things to her baby's buggy too.

Brilliant as long as they are not left on the line”
by Marilyn Le Breton
Great for airing & drying pillows & duvets but don't leave them on the line as the metal springs rust very quickly. Would have got 5 stars but for the rusting porblem.

Bought these solely for holiday use, they are absolutely brilliant for keeping your towels secure on sun beds. Can't praise them enough.

I was very disappointed by the Mega pegs. After reading the reviews on your website, I bought the pegs in the hope of simplifying the process of changing our duvet covers. Sadly, the pegs were simply not up to the job. We don't have especially thick duvets or covers, but one peg broke when I tried to clip it on, while the others would not stay in place when I very gently shook the duvet. In fact, the job took about three times longer than usual! So, back to the drawing board on the duvet changing problem.

A note from the team: Thanks for letting us know about this. We're sorry the Mega Pegs didn't do the job for you. We'll be happy to put things right, as they're covered by our Lakeland guarantee.
Pegs for Victorian Airer”
by Mrs Baxter
Using these for my Victorian airer. The pegs fit onto the wooden slats and your washing will not slip down. Another excellent product by Lakeland.

Great for the allotment”
I use Mega Pegs on my allotment. They are fantastic for holding net or fleece to stakes and posts and they are so easy to release when I want access to harvest my veggies.

Ideal for airing bedding”
I have never been able to find a satisfactory method of ensuring pegs and duvets stay on the line, wet or dry, but these pegs do the job brilliantly. In warm weather it is easy to hang all bedding on the line to be aired and wet bedding is secure. I bought two packs and my only complaint is that on the 'steel' spring on one came out after the first use. The others continue to do the job really well and I intend to buy another pack.

Fabulous for children and camping”
by Rachel Amos
These are brilliant not just for camping (clipping all sorts of things everywhere) but also children's camp making / hanging teddies on the line and best of all clipping paper to tables for toddlers to draw / paint. I give packs away to new parents...

Every sunbed should have these pegs.”
by Mrs Annette Bellamy
I have been taking these pegs on holiday for about 3 years and have now bought them for all of the family. Wherever we go, especially on cruises where it can be very breezy, other holiday makers ask where we got them. No more fighting with the towells on sunbeds as they just stay in place. No suitcase should be without them.

These pegs are great for airing duvets on the line. I also use them when I change the duvet covers. With a king size duvet I find that if I use one of these pegs on each top corner to hold the duvet in place, I can easily pull the cover down and button it. The pegs hold the corners nicely in place while I give it a good shake to get the duvet nice and flat inside the cover. A great help for a job I used to dread each week!

Extra hands when needed”
I use my mega pegs when changing duvet covers. My arms are just not long enough when changing a king size duvet so I use the pegs along the top edge to hold the duvet inside the cover then move them down the sides as I wriggle the cover along the length of the quilt. It speeds up the whole process and you end up with a smooth duvet inside a smooth cover!

Cannot live without ...”
I have had to throw out a couple Mega Pegs. But after 11 years of heavy use and neglect I am not complaining (one broke when I stood on it!) I have just ordered again because although I bought them for airing duets and pillows, they are just the thing for pegging jeans and heavy trousers. My tip for jeans is to position the peg over the waistband at the centre button and then hook over the line: put an ordinary peg at each side. Fold wet trousers sideways so that creases are correct and use 2 MegaPegs. With a little luck, you won't have to press them.
