I wondered why I was having so much trouble with my jam, taking a very long time to reach setting point as marked on this product, that I decided to do a boiling water test. Evidently the water in my house boils at 92 degrees C. It has caused me to ruin several batches of preserve. Agree with previous reviewer who said it covers too great a temperature range for the use for which it is intended. Avoid, not fit for its purpose.
