I am disabled, always carry a piece with me & use it several times a day. Getting out of bed a piece on the carpet means my numb feet stay in place. I'm no longer a child :-) but sitting on a piece of this stops me sliding off seats & needing lifting from the floor. A piece on the floor holds my feet as I lift myself backwards onto a step to reach a standing position after falling. Pieces under my numb hands keep my hands in place when standing from a sitting position. It's so good & used so often even my husband automatically grabs some when he needs to help me.

So many uses”
This has so many uses. Like another reviewer I keep a square handy for undoing bottle and jars. As I have arthritic hands it is invaluable. I am now ordering more as we have a new microwave which slides on the worktop when we press the door release. I shall cut a piece to stand it on and am sure it will 'do the trick'.

Non-slip clothes hangers”
I love this product and use it for lots of things. The most recent I cut 2 inch strips the width of the roll, wrap them around the trouser bar on wooden clothes hangers and stapled them together to keep them in place. I did 6 hangers in 5 minutes. Now trousers stay put in the wardrobe. I also cut small squares and use double sided tape to stick to the top edge of the hangers to keep silky bouses in place.

Slip a Grip is fantastic”
I used my Slip a Grip to line my pan drawers in my new kitchen 18 months ago. I also used to protect between each frying pan in the drawer. This protected from scratching and staining and is a great product

Best jar opener”
by Pauline A
Having tried many gadgets for opening jars, I cut a small piece off the roll and found it worked effortlessly. Keep a piece handy by the jars and bottles, you'll never struggle again opening those tight tops! Thanks Lakeland.

I have found a brilliant new use for this product - I found it really great as a mat on which to wrap presents! I used to lose my temper when trying to fold and secure the ends of parcels as they slid away from me on the table, but not any more! My Christmas parcels stayed put, making wrapping sooo much easier!

EXCELLENT - IT WORKS, AND IT'S MACHINE WASHABLE, TOO”
This product is brilliant - I use it on trays, and for many other things too. I use it on a slightly sloped surface that everyone rests things on - and it works there too. It machine washes easily. The instructions say to wipe a surface with a wet cloth before putting the Slip-a-Grip on it - and that's important to remember. This comes on a roll, and you just cut it to fit. So easy, and so effective. Nothing else to add - a fantastic product!

Keeps the telly in place”
This is a product which has endless uses. Anything you need to stay in place will benefit from slip-a-grip. I have a little tv stand with a rotating top, and the tv on top of it needs to stay put - and now it does. It's not flashy, but eminently practical and useful.

stops the baby slipping”
Our baby granddaughter kept sliding from view in the highchair we bought her! I cut a square of Slip a Grip and placed it on the seat of the highchair and she now stays put and eats her meals in comfort.

works for rugs”
We've used several rolls of this to stop rugs skidding on our wooden floors. Because it is just squishy plastic and non-adhesive it doesn't leave marks and can be repositioned easily. Maybe it didn't work in the other reviewer's drawers because it needs something heavy on it to provide the gripping force. The weight of the rug plus that of the person stepping on it is enough to stop the rugs sliding. My main gripe now is that it has been on back order for ages!

Slip-a-Grip at Sea”
by Jane Riley
We use Slip-a-Grip when we're on our boat - what a wonderful invention! it really does stop mugs, plates etc sliding about when the sea's a bit choppy. Great to be able to cut off exactly what you need to fit any situation, whether it's to place a mug of hot tea on,on the seat outside for the helmsman, or inside to stop items rolling about on the table or on the shelves. Wouldn't be without it!

non-sticky sticking stuff”
by Kathryn Livsey
Great! Stops the dog's bowl sliding round the kitchen floor or you plate migrating off the edge of your tray. Keeps childrens' plates from skidding as they learn to cut and their chair cushions from tipping them off into a heap under the table. I found this stuff fabulous.

Slip-a-grip does not grip and does slip”
by Mrs Joan Negus
Having bought 3 rolls of this product - it seemed perfect for my needs - I am very disappointed in it. It slips over the base of drawers even though cut to size. It rides up all the time under the cutlery in the base of your expanding wooden cutlery drawer - even thought each strip fits perfectly. One would need to tack it down to keep it in place - not what I am prepared to do in my new kitchen.
