I put these on my fire, and the children 'send' their letters to santa via the fire.. It's true magic when the fire burns multi colours and the children believe its santa's magic..

Kids and I loved watching the various colours created by these little cones on the open fire at our old house. Does anyone know if they can be used with a log burner?

A note from the team: Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I'm glad to hear that you enjoy watching the changing colours made by the cones. I've checked for you and they can be used on a log burner.

I love these pine cones that light up in the fire , they remind me of the pine cones my mum used to collect although these are different to hers!

A little bit of Christmas magic”
I've bought a pack of these every Christmas since Lakeland started selling them. We'd feel bereft if we didn't have them and my grand-daughter would be absolutely heartbroken without them. Turn the lights down low, make up a really good fire, throw one or two of these on and sit and dream. It's almost worth buying a house with a fireplace (we wouldn't be without one) just to see the magic.

these are so beautiful when they burn - have now sussed that I have to buy in bulk between September and Xmas to keep a supply for the rest of the year... this summer has been so miserable the fires have been on several times, and the cones fairly cheered us all up! How about a year-round stock of them please? :0)

Bought this for the first time to try in our new Log burning stove. What fun. Everyone loved the colours and we so upset to find they are discontinued. Please stock them again soon.

A real winter delight”
I started using northern lights last Christmas, much to the delight of friends and family, everyone enjoyed watching the colourful flames of our open fire. Really good value for money, I'm already stocking up again for this year!

Fire colour cones”
Wonderful product. We used them for the first time on Christmas day and they were every bit as good as it claimed on the box. Rushed this morning to order more for New Year and so disappointed to find they are sold out - more please Lakeland.

Great fun - like being at Hogwarts!”
These are fabulous and we all love them. I'd just like to be able to get them in larger packs.

We really enjoyed watching the flames in our open fire change to blue / green and this was a talking point with visitors over Christmas. They are too expensive for everyday use.

Lovely. A friend bought me this item last year and it is really unusual. Open fires are always nice and this adds a special touch

As my title said, Northern Lights do give a lovely coloured glow to the flames, even quite visible within a wood-burning stove. I use them quite sparingly as they're not easy to obtain elsewhere!

I have searched for these everywhere, they are imported from America and difficult to get in the UK. Thank you Lakeland! Throw one of these cones onto your open fire and it burns with the most beautiful colours. A very nice gift for anyone with a real fireplace.
