Tried this for the first time with your sachets, 8-12 hours! left mine 16 hours and still not set. Left with a runny sweet mess. Feel this was probably a waste of money will try once more just to use up the sachets but will probably end up going back to old method.

A note from the team: As other customers have found, leaving the yoghurt to set for the full 12 hours achieves a much better result and in some cases leaving it even longer produces the desired texture and taste.We'll be in touch soon to help.

1st: The jar is useless! Once you fill up the jar, try to close it tightly and shake it, the milk is all over the kitchen floor and your hand! 2nd:After making yogurt, you have great difficulty opening the jar each time as the lid is slippery with no dents! I call it "cutting cost of mass production"! It should have been a clip-and-lock jar instead. 3: It's not suitable for making yogurt with your own milk powder as after two load and 16 hours you'll get a too sweet, watery and seperated yogurt! I haven't tried fresh milk but buying 1kg best yogurt is much cheaper than makin it with EasiYo sachets.

A note from the team: We're sorry to hear you've been disappointed with this product and have experienced a messy and unpleasant yoghurt result.The lid to the yoghurt jar does have a secure screw top feature so we're wondering if maybe it just wasn't on correctly? Your suggestion that it should have a clip and lock method has been passed to our buyers to consider. If you don't wish to use the Easiyo sachets each time another customer has suggested using the last 2-3 tablespoons of your first batch, mix it with a litre of UHT milk and milk powder. This can then be repeated each time for the new batch. Alternatively, we do sell Bio unsweetened varieties that maybe are more to your taste. We'll be in touch to help.
Bought my yoghurt maker about 2 yrs ago and had trouble with yoghurt tasting sour and going off really quickly and thought it was the powder mix. Maker was relegated to the back of the cupboard, thought I'd give it another try and purchased Greek yoghurt this week and made it again - tastes sour & isn't smooth or thick, don't know what's going wrong. Think it may have to go to the charity shop or in the bin as it's just taking up space.

I cannot do without Easi-Yo so much so that I used to take it all with me when I went away for the weekend/on holiday now I have one in my other home.It is so easy to use and all the flavours are very good, We always have a pot of natural and a flavour in the fridge at all times.In cold weather just make sure the water is tepid rather than cold from the tap to ensure perfect results.

I've looked at this many times in the catalogue but always hesitated to buy as I thought it would be another gadget that would end up in the back of a cupboard. Having just made my first batch of Bio Greek yogurt, that definitely won't be the case. It was easy and the end result is absolutely delicious. Even my husband, who doesn't normally care for yogurt, thought it tasted great. I used to spend ages in the supermarket trying (and failing) to find a yogurt that wasn't loaded with sugar and/or a cocktail of additives. Not any more!

I had always thought that making yoghurt at home would prove to be quite tedious, but the EASIYO yoghurt maker has removed any doubts that I had. Made in minutes, without fuss, resulting in delicious Greek yoghurt, and I can't wait to try my packet of Bio Fruits, which I will be offering to guests staying this weekend.

Best buy ever!”
We love the EasiYo, I make yogurt twice a week. My recipe is: 1 small tub of Greek yogurt (starter) 1 small can Carnation Evaporated milk 1 tsp Vanilla extract UHT milk to top up to level Start by mixing the Greek yogurt with the Carnation and Vanilla, in the jar, mix gently. Top up to level with the UHT milk, mix, close jar. And per EasiYo instructions, fill the container with boiling water, add jar, close and let it rest for 8 to 12 hours. I leave it for 9 hours undisturbed. For the next batch, take 4tbsp of the yogurt you made and use it as starter and follow the recipe above. Good Luck!

Having tasted some yoghurt my friend made with the Easiyo yoghurt maker,I decided to jump at the chance of buying it when it was on offer recently.I can't believe how easy it is to use and the yoghurt it makes is delicious.So far I have made the low fat greek ,which is thick and creamy but a little bit tart(adding fruit or honey does the trick though!) and the vanilla,which is truly yummy.My hubby agrees,saying it is far superior to the shop-bought yoghurts as it doesn't have that chemical taste you can sometimes get with them.

I have had an EasyYo yoghurt maker for several years, and enjoy the variety of delicious flavours, also making cheesecakes & ice creams with it. Now my sister has experienced yoghurt made this way (from a colleague at work) she has asked for one as a Christmas present. Thoroughly recommended by us!

Making yoghurt is effortless with the EasiYo. The taste of the [plain] yoghurt is different to that of purchased yoghurt (more zingy!) and it took a little bit of getting used to. We love it now though, especially knowing there are no added sugars! The process of making yoghurt is so simple. I use tepid filtered water and don't top it up all the way. I use an extra cm of boiling water too. I put it in the airing cupboard and leave it about 12 hours - the yoghurt is so thick and creamy. Lovely. The container can't be immersed in water so I just wipe it out each time with anti bac spray.

Brilliant idea - kit is great. Worth the money, I haven't bought shop bought yoghurt for nearly 2 months, saved ££. Tastes better and lasts a lot longer. Was recommended to me by my Mum, would definitely recommend it to others! Cant wait to try some other flavours.

i love the easiyo.i find using tepid water and leaving it for 12 hours the yoghurt comes out perfect every time. i get it all ready at about 7-8pm at night and tby the time the fam wake up the next morning its ready to eat if i want some for the eveing then i make sure to do it early in the morning 8-12 hours perfect yoghurt

Easiyo best thing since sliced bread. It's so easy to use and the yogurt is fab. I always use tepid water it makes better and firmer yogurt keeps better too. I made some before going into hospital two weeks ago and I'm still eating it - it's fine, keeps so well - I'm amazed I thought it would only keep for a week or maybe 10 days but it's still beautiful.

I bought my easiyo yoghurt maker 1 week ago, its so easy to make its fabulous now I can have a sweet treat anytime without feeling guilty about calories and fat content, best thing I have bought. My friends have even bought one after trying mine, I have even saved a fortune as I am not buying yoghurts at the supermarket just for them to go out of date. My easiyo yoghurts are eaten straight away and the handy little pots are great for packed lunches. I would recommend this to anyone, my daughter would not eat breakfast she now has a large bowl before she leaves the house to go to college.

A great product ”
This is something I have put off buying for years thinking it would not be used. I was so wrong. After trying the starter pack the only problem I had was needing more internal pots. The extra inners came with a bonus of lunch takers which are well used too as my other snack takers state they are not suitable for dairy products. The Greek yoghurt is particularly good. I am pleased with the sauces I have made from the recipe booklet. It may not save much money but is an excellent way to have fresh yoghurt available, no worries on shelf life or the weight of shopping bags. .

Easi Yo Yoghurt Maker”

I tried it last week and after 12 hours the yoghurt was runny, a little thicker in places. I have been used to the Lakeland electric one which makes the yoghurt lovely and thick. I read one of the reviews on here to refill with boiling water as the water had gone cold. I tried this and got a much better texture/thickness yoghurt. I shall have another go and do the same to see what happens. I did think the water would stay hotter for longer.

Wow! Great, creamy yoghurt that is easy to make and tastes great. I only purchased the £6.99 kit a couple of weeks ago but I'm already hooked!

And what an excellent price My first batch had not set and I panicked ... I realise I should have just re-closed the lid and waited but I chucked it instead 3 more litres made since leaving overnight so 10-12 hours and have had no problems I love Greek yogurt and the low-fat greek is excellent

Very Easy EasiYo”

I can't keep my family in EasiYo. I have one maker and two containers. My grand-children love it too. They come here after school and stay until their mum picks them up after work. I am thinking of buying another maker/containers while they are on special offer just to keep up. I add fresh Blueberries and Honey to the Greek, lovely, but Coconut is my favourite.

It is so easy to make yogurt with the EasiYo but I found that 1 litre was rather too much for me since I live by myself and do not eat it every day. I found I was eating more than I wanted to make sure it was not wasted. One day I decided to freeze it. I use cream pots with plastic lids which give me enough for 2-3 days each. By doing this I can make more than one variety and can choose which flavour I want to eat next. Once defrosted, the yoghurt only needs a good stir and it is like freshly made.
