Very disappointing. The instructions are supposed to be easy but instructions such as 'fill half way' or 'fill up to the mark' when neither my husband nor I could see any measuring marks made it frustrating. I made one batch of plain Greek yoghurt but it was very acidic and a firm set rather than creamy. I don't think I'll make any more, despite buying a box of refill yogurt mixes. Also, the jar is too big for a one yoghurt eater household - 2 smaller ones would be better (which I believe they used to make). And you do have to be very careful replacing the lid so it's fitting properly.
A note from the team
The hot water should be filled up to the red baffle which fits inside. You could always fill less than this and top up once the inner container is added. Make sure the yogurt powder is well mixed with the water - this mixture should come up to nearly the top of the inner container. You might find the video helpful. Greek yogurt does have thicker texture and a tangier, less sweet flavour, it's also more stable for cooking. We're pleased to advise we still sell the small basket and jars ref 70505, which allow you to make half the quantity - 500g of yogurt in your yogurt maker, but once made the Easiyo yogurt can last up to 2 weeks. The lid should simply screw on.
