Firstly I ordered the CREAM ones but MAUVE ones came. Didn't dislike the colour so I kept them. 2 days after putting them in the garden they stopped working! A lot to pay for 2 days of use.

I found the 'spike' OK, held firmly in place down 1 edge of the packaging. (So, yes, quite hard to spot.) Charged up OK in and lasted 5 hours, as stated on the box. 2 or 3 comments: In the pics, they seem to appear as pastel shades of lemon or pale blue or pink. I assumed colour-change. They are NOT colour-change. They are pure white, not ivory, whether lights on or off. Each alium 'flower head' has ONE bulb; not 3 (another reason to think they were colour change). There are THREE alium heads with ONE bulb per head. Total of 3 bulbs for the whole thing. Still like them, though!

Flimsy....the plastic leaves detached immediately. I bought two - they're over-priced for what they are. I have also just realised - having looked st the photo on the site - that the reason I have also struggled with these - ie to get them to even stand up in the ground! - is because I did not get the tall poles they presumably have to be attached to! They came in cardboard boxes without any poles in the boxes! Lakeland - can you at least supply the full kit?

A note from the team: Thanks for the review, I'm sorry that you'd been disappointed with the lights and that the ground spikes were missing. The ground spikes should be located inside the box in one of the corners. I'll be in touch shortly to help.
