4 Window Fly Trap Stickers

Took a little while for these to start catching things, but now I'm well impressed! Apart from the usual little flies, I get bluebottles on hot days (possibly because of the bats in the roof) and the sticker in my living room now artistically covered in them. Maybe I should try selling it as modern art?!!

Fruit Flies no moreby Margaret

4 Window Fly Trap Stickers

It is like they are a vacuum for fruit flies! Darling Husband was insufficiently careful about closing the compost bin, and the result was a plague of fruit flies. The plain white walls looked spotty! First Sticker was full by the next day, so I replaced it and put up a second; they are keeping everything under control. I am buying more now because DH still not very good at shutting the lid on the compost bin! Although they fill fairly quickly, I think they are the right size: you want to replace them because a fly graveyard isn't the most attractive thing to have on display!

It works really well with small insects, but not big flies. Overall, happy with the product, only complaint is the price is slight too high.

I've bought these before and they catch flies brilliantly. The only problem I've had is that the fly trap gel has melted down my window with the current hot conditions - and is incredibly difficult to remove.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry the gel has melted in the sun and run down the window. We'd recommend try the stick stuff remover [ref 8976 ] We'll be in touch shortly to help.

These sunflowers are brilliant! I've got them on every window in the house and they're filling up rapidly. I can't take them off until I order more - and they're out of stock! Hope they come back in soon.

These really do workby Caroline

Attractive stickers that do the job very well. I don't like using chemicals as I have four cats and these stickers are a useful non-chemical alternative. The only problem is peeling the stickers off the window when there are the little dry bodies of flies stuck to them (wear gloves!)

These just work brilliantly! They are particularly effective for those annoying little fruit flies but will also catch larger blue bottles.

Within 2 minutes had caught several small flies in our conservatory. Overnight several larger ones succumbed. The old-fashioned fly papers hanging nearby are still to catch their first victim. I agree with your other correspondent that they might not last 3 months because they will be full!

Good but ...by Mrs Sherman

Either I'm not putting them in the right place or the majority of flies don't like them. I've been plagued by very aggressive flies this year and dotted a number of these stickers around. They do catch flies but many just seem to buzz around them admiringly then fly off. I will be ordering more as they do get catch some flies but wish they were a bit more effective like the old-style fly-paper that used to hang from the ceiling was. Maybe Lakeland could have a think about re-introducing that?

A note from the team: Thanks for your review, your comments are very valuable. We've passed your suggestion for fly paper on to our buying team for their consideration.

The only problem is they fill with flies so quickly that they have to be renewed every couple of weeks and do not get a chance to last for 3 months. I live next to a field of livestock hence so many flies.

Bought these as plagued by small fruit flies in kitchen window and struggling to get rid of them by conventional means (squashing or spraying!). Only needed to use one and caught all within an hour. Safe to use as non toxic, no fumes or anything. Miles better than fly spray or long dangly sticky tapes to walk into. States they will peel off easily too without leaving a residue, so can't get better than that. Would recommend to everyone, and will be buying more as and when needed, but think 4 should last me a few months at least. Would also be perfect in a greenhouse for green/white fly.
