Useless on every level”
I purchased these thinking what a great idea. Unfortunately its a great idea poorly executed. These are made of poor quality plastic, they don't fasten properly so you DO end up with a bag full of crumbs, they are not airtight or even close to it so the biscuits become stale. What is the point of keeping on producing them when they don't do what the website says they do? Not the usual standard of product by a long shot, the old ones were better.

Not the great quality I remember...”
I had a set of these 10 years ago, they were really useful and lasted years. I decided it was time to replace them, and I was disappointed with the quality. The plastic is very thin, the hinge and clasp look very flimsy. The pot doesn't line up easily to close and has a gap, therefore it will not keep anything fresh. I can't see myself using these pots at all. Very disappointing.

Lasts for years, perfect for snacks”
I've had these for years and only recently did the hinge on one of my boxes break, however the lid still stays on, so the box can still be used. The colours are still vivid. Use it for biscuits, small fruit and other small snacks and it pops into your handbag or even your coat pocket. These were excellent value for money when I purchased them and they've hardly increased in price since. Hopefully the quality of the product remains changed.

useful for children's snacks”
These are excellent lightweight pots for children's snacks. Will hold a couple of slim biscuits or one cookie each. Also good to hold a few mini biscuits/dried fruit, much more discreet to open than a crinkly packet if out somewhere quiet, and saves finding matching pots and lids if in a hurry. The clip is too fiddly for very small children, which is no bad thing! Not fully airtight, so only for short-term storage, and not watertight, so only suitable for dry foods.

This review is for an older version of this product
by Robert Gillett
7 years ago two of these arrived free with some other Lakeland products. Since then I have been using them several times a week for snacks at work, one for oatcakes (a pack of 7 fits exactly) and the other for nuts/seeds. One needs replacing because the part of the hinge has cracked - something heavy dropped onto it. Today I've decided to order not 1 but 5 so I can give some to friends. Please don't stop supplying these little gems - they are extremely useful, will go almost anywhere and they are light and strong: exceptional value!

I thought this was a genius product when I saw it on the website but after using it today I am very disappointed with it. The quality is very poor and it feels really flimsy. The worst thing is that my handbag is filled with crumbs as the lid doesn't fasten properly!

Sorry, very good idea, but I found these very thin and flimsy. I had difficulty in closing them, the catch didn't line up at all )o:

I thought these were just a gimick but now I'm glad I bought them. The good thing about the attached lid is that it cannot get lost, unlike my tupperwares which are now as ill-assorted as socks in the laundry. On the downside, my eyesight is not too good and sometimes I struggle to open the box. I've not had a problem with biscuits going soggy. My braces box is a little more robust but the biscuits won't fit in it.

I expected them to be airtight”
I bought these for the kids to take biscuits to school. I wish I'd read more of the reviews rather than those on the frontpage as I'd agree they are rather flimsy and not airtight. I'd rather pay more and have a Lock n Lock type fastening as I'm not sure they are suitable for biscuits really, so I'll keep using the Stack-a-Boxes. With these, even though the biscuits get a bit bashed about, at least they are not soft by the time the kids eat them at break. I'm certain I'll find a use for these but would love Lakeland to come up with a better quality Biscuits For One container.

Lovely and ideal”
by Mr chris newton
Got these because my son wasn't eating all his crisps or nibbles at school, a whole packet seemed too much on top of his 'healthy' lunch boxes. I found that half a packet of crisps or whatever just about fit in, also means that the lunchbox police won't be tutting over the fact I allow crisps just once a day - or in his case half a packet. Also great for putting in fruit cut up, sausage or pasta so that they are not over-faced with food.

Great Little Product”
Fantastic little product with all sorts of uses and great value for money. Only one problem I can see is not to use chocolate bickies or they will melt!

Not just for biscuits!”
by Mrs Wright
What a great little storage item for biscuits, grapes, raisins, nuts, hair bobbles & hair clips or dog treats. For your holidays it great for storing sewing items, small jewellery items, childrens braces and for medicical items like insulin & needles for injections. The list goes on ...

I bought a pack of two of the biscuit holders with the intention of using them when my husband and I go walking in the lake district. When I opened the packed I was disappointed to note how flimsy they were and noted that the box did not close properly. I took them with us to try out but unfortunately the biscuits broke and crumbs were scattered in our rucksack. I would have preferred them to be sturdier and with a better seal on then to prevent biscuits going soggy.

Cheap and cheerful”
These are okay for storage but don't expect them to be like proper tuperware containers. They will stop something getting squashed in your handbag / lunch bag - but don't seal so are not suitable for preventing something going soft etc. I use when we travel to put biscuits in for my son. Easy to pass to him in the car and he likes. Occasionally use in his school lunch bag. Rasins, grapes, odd biscuit etc. When I first bought them I wasn't keen. They don't fasten very well and are cheap. But for the price I decided not to return and have grown to love them and they get a lot of use:) Gave 4 stars due to price. You get what you pay for and these are a good price.

Almost a decade of daily service”
I bought a pair when my son started school for his chopped up fruit and veg, he had to have the cool green one and it was used every school day for 5 years, the past four years it has been used daily as a doggie treat box whilst out walking. The other one is also going strong and used daily by my daughter for biscuits, fruit, mouth guards, toys and anything else you could possibly think of. Brilliant buy :)

Great in a suitcase”
by Barbara Jefford
I use my round containers to take bracelets and bangles on holiday, also a small bath sponge which fits in one of the boxes very neatly. I just wish they would bring back the 'Ryvita' sized box as that's handy for necklaces when travelling. I know there are pretty jewellery rolls on the market for travelling but these stop beads from being crushed in suitcases. Also the Ryvita box neatly stores a personal radio, earplugs and a night-time book-light all together in one handy place - ideal for the insomniac! I have never had a problem with the hinges and have had my boxes for a very long time.

Braces not biscuits”
by Mrs Ramsden
My son wears top and bottom braces which he has to take out to eat and for sport. Where to store them while he's not wearing them? The biscuit box is just the right size, is easy to keep in a pocket and of course, washable. Many thanks for such a useful little box!
