Magic Oven Liner

Since discovering this magic product, I bought 2 for myself and 4 more for my families and friends. Now none of us can live without oven liners.

Magic Oven Liner

we had one of these for our new cooker.but it comes so far out with the power of the oven & flaps around all of the time.i have contacted you & you have said some ovens fans are too powerful for this item so we are now going to have to put it in our top oven,so don't buy one if your ovens fan is powerful!!!.it is a quality item though.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry that your oven is too powerful for the liner. The liner is not suitable for fan ovens (except when the fan is at the top of the oven), or for ovens where the element is in the base. Please check before purchase.

I've just bought my second one of these (bought the last one over a year ago) as the first one seemed to last for ages! Great idea and exactly as it says on the tin - easy to clean and makes your oven look brand new!

Magic Oven Liner

I've just replaced my oven liners after 4 years of daily use. They wipe clean very easily and make cleaning the oven easier. I have a double oven, and have no problem using the liner in the bottom fan oven as some people have said, maybe because my fan is in the centre back oven wall.

I am now purchasing another of these liners as my first one is looking a bit 'sad' after many years of constant use - brilliant idea and I wouldn't be without one !

I have been using this for the past 5 years. It's something I would never be without, has saved me endless cleaning of the bottom of the oven. If you buy one thing from Lakeland do buy this.

The liner which won't lie downby Mrs Margaret Orrell

Magic Oven Liner

This flies about the oven when the fan is on!

Published 04 02 2014

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry the liner flaps about in your oven. The liner is suitable for fan assisted ovens if the fan is situated at the back at a higher level. If the fan is lower this will cause the liner to flap about. We'll be in touch shortly to help.

Sorry but I find this oven line the pits. Everytime I open the oven door the fan in the oven chases it out of the door. What am I doing wrong.

Published 07 01 2014

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. Please note that if your oven has a fan, it will lift the inner edge of the liner, unless the fan is situated near the top of the oven. Please check before purchasing the liner.

Have been using these for 15 years! Have just moved house and the 12 year old oven I left behind needed no more than a wipe over. Needless to say I've put one in my new oven!

With a brand new oven I thought this would be great....but in my fan oven flapped about like washing on a line and tried to escape out the door when I opened it. Seemed like a good idea.....turned out to be a waste of money.

Magic Oven Liner

As other reviews, I cannot rate this highly enough. It keeps the bottom of my oven in 'as new' condition and it is easy to clean (much easier than having to scrub the bottom of the oven!) I couldn't be without this product! Thank you Lakeland!

Best purchase ever!by Marion Gibson

Magic Oven Liner

I am so, so glad I bought this oven liner. I love that I no longer use oven cleaner, no nasty chemicals. I didn't notice a big spill the other day and there was a big burnt mess at the bottom of the oven, but I just took out the liner and washed it under the tap. So, so easy. Also, no sore knees scrubbing the oven base. Brilliant.

disappointing purchaseby Mrs Armsworth

Magic Oven Liner

I had been recommended this oven liner by a friend but I am very disappointed as it flaps about in my oven and works its way out of the door when I open it. I feel that there should be a comment about using it in fan ovens on the outside of the box? Would be good if it stayed in the oven

Published 06 03 2013

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry for the disappointment. The magic oven liner can be used successfully in a fan assisted oven as long as the fan is situated near the top of the oven. We'll be in touch shortly to help.

Watch out in fan ovensby Valerie

Magic Oven Liner

I had a similar problem to another reviewer. This is such a great idea, but as my fan oven blows from near the bottom of the oven, the mat blows up and blocks the vents. I have been considering if there is any way I could hold it down - maybe magnets! I would have liked to use it in the top oven/grill but that has heat from the bottom element. I guess if I could use it I would give it 5*

Wouldn't live without it !!by PAULINE GRIFFITHS

Magic Oven Liner

I have been using this wonderful stuff for several years now and it always lives up to its name. I use it at home and also in our caravan ovens. I also line baking trays with the cut-offs and put a piece under toast when I'm grilling cheese - saves so much mess. My only gripe is that the sheet isn't large enough to cope with my two ovens !! As I do a lot of baking and oven cooking, it does tend to wear out fairly quickly and needs replacing so I have to buy two each time and this does work out quite expensive.

Fan ovenby Catherine

Magic Oven Liner

I bought these for my ovens, one is fan assisted and one is a normal top heating oven. It works well in my normal oven but in the fan assisted oven it flys out when you open the door which is a pain. It does keep the oven clean but is totally useless in the fan oven. For the normal oven I would give it 5 stars but for the fan oven it has to be 1 star

New use for oven linerby Elizabeth R

5 stars out of 5

Magic Oven Liner

Had a strip of oven liner left when I fitted it. When I came to put my plastic basins of Xmas pud in my pressure cooker it made a great protector and divider wrapped around the basins. No worry about them touching the side and melting. I was able to cook 2 or 3 small ones together. Also very good for keeping oven clean.
