I found this product so time consuming, the leads take ages to tuck into the small compartment and it looks clumpy and untidy wherever I placed it, which kind of defeated the object really.

Doesn't quite do the jobby Judy

I agree with reviewer 'Lyn'. A super idea (2 stars for that) and it does hold my dryer and 2 appliances. However it is 'top heavy' with the hair dryer and tends to tip up. The long leads do not fit into the back with UK 3 pin plugs - I note it is made in France. The grooves at the back for the leads do not work at all. An expensive buy that doesn't live up to expectations.

such a shameby Dawn

I didn't read previous reviews before purchasing. I have never had cause to return an item to Lakeland before but this item is just too small, its such a shame its not a little larger. If you have a very small dryer with a very short lead you may be OK. Brilliant idea to be able to store dryer/straighteners whilst hot, shame there's just not enough room for the plugs and leads.

Disappointing unfortunately!by Janet

I recently bought this for myself from your York store. I've just read other people's mixed reviews and felt compelled to add mine. I use a hairdryer, straighteners and occasionally a roller/hairbrush (which is too big). I'd hoped it'd be the answer to trailing flexes but the best I can say is that it's great for putting my appliances away whilst hot. There isn't enough room to stow flexes or house the plugs in the small pockets at the back (your picture indicates they're neatly stowed away) so I just have to hide them all behind. Not ideal really. The greyish colour isn't that great either.

Really pleased with this item, keeps every hair styler in once place even when hot, keeps dressing table clutter to a minimum. Going to buy one for my Daughter, who leaves her hair stylers on the floor even when hot!

Needs Workby Louise

Great idea, but in practice far too small and light-weight. It's not really free-standing at all- it just falls over with tools in it! The pockets at the back for flexes are also way too small. Make it bigger with a heavier base and more cord space please; sadly it's a waste of money as is.

I would recommend this product but think it would be more attractive if it was made in cream or white rather than grey. However, a useful container, (not seen anything else like it), but the storage space at the back is better suited to brushes, combs etc. rather than trying to house the cords which I found impossible to fit in.

Great idea, shame about the leadsby Lyn

Brilliant idea to have somewhere to store appliances whilst cooling down. BUT I can only think foreign applicances have much shorter cables (as well as small 2-pin plugs) as there is no way the cables for my hairdryer and curling wand will wrap around/fit into the 3 small compartments at the back! So I still end up with the leads trailing all over the floor......Not very happy: such a pity as it's a great idea but an expensive "miss".

Great idea - but it could be just a bit larger!by Patt

A great idea and a great buy. (incidentally unlike the 1st reviewer, I don't have any problems with style station wobbling). However I would welcome a larger version with a bit more capacity for more brushes etc - and for cord storage.

Lovely apart from one thing.....by Jess

This is perfect as I can fit my large hairdryer in it even with the nozzle attached! However....I put it on my dresser and it wobbles, the bottom is not even so it doesn't sit level, you would need to put some blu-tac under it to keep it in place, perhaps it's just mine but it's not broken in any way so it might be a design flaw, I've tried it on more than one surface as well and had the same issue. Just thought I'd mention it as it may affect some buyers, I'm going to wall-mount mine as it happily has holes in the back for this purpose.
