Had this product about a year now and it is brilliant. I love the fact it is so light, compared to the heavy wooden ones, and that it doesn't slide out at the edges, or get so damp it goes mouldy. It's been brilliant and I much prefer it to the wooden ones. The only slightly negative is that the metal is so smooth, it's slightly slippy, so you do need the loft peg holder for small items like socks. Unfortunately the peg holder isn't a great product.

Great product, but as someone previously commented, the cleat is completely inadequate, especially when you consider the weight of a fully loaded drying rack. Fortunately, my husband had a more sturdy one. I think the manufacturers should look at this. It's not a cheap product, & seems a shame to be let down by something so small.......

The pulleys supplied were not of a very high quality, they didnt look like the ones on the Lofti installation video. They bent slightly out of shape just with the pressure of screwing into the ceiling. Consequently they didn't roll smoothly and we had to buy replacements of stronger metal. Also the aluminium slats that you hang the laundry over are so smooth that items slide off when you are loading the adjacent slat. Would recommend that you buy a wooden one less slippage i think. Its very pricey for what it is.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry you've had difficulties with the Lofti. We'll be in touch shortly to help.
A well made, substantial product although the cleat not large enough. The bars are made of slippery material. Heavy items hung from their middle, rather than with one short and one long side (this slows the drying process) stay in place. Lighter weight items stay in place when wet but sometimes slide to the floor when dry. When I find items on the floor, I know they are dry! Wood bars hold the washing in place more securely.

y new Drying Rack”
When I saw this item on the Lakeland site it brought back memories of my childhood, these driers were used all the time in the winter; or for airing damp clothes from the washing line. I have been looking for one for years. “Now I have one” I use it daily and no longer use my tumble drier; this is saving me money. I am all for that.

Well, i've had this a week now and used it every day. I've had no issues with the cleat yet. It seems robust and was easy to put together. There is a good deal of hanging space and i have been emptying out a full wash load onto it each day with success. It's saved me on electricity already as i haven't used my tumble since i got this. Thanks so much Lakeland. Very happy :)

Great concept, but execution needs some work”
by Mrs Young
Purchased this product to complete our new utility room and give us much needed indoor drying space. The concept is fantastic and the product works well. However the cleat provided to hook the cord around is not "man enough" for the job, so don't be surprised to have to go out and purchase a replacement. We've used the product twice and the cleat simply didn't do the job. Beef up this aspect and it'll be a great addition to anyone's home.
