Does what it says on the tin!”
Incredible, so easy to use and the amount of hair that came out was very impressive/horrendous, although I had been using a drain cover for years, it was obviously not very effective. Would highly recommend for a very quick no mess cleaner.

A MUST TRY!!”
I have been struggling with my shower and it overflowing all the time.. Thinking it was just the shape of the disabled tray.. I saw the hair clog tool in Lakeland today and thought I should try it (what's the worst that could happen?).. Well I used it last night and I pulled out what looked like a very large mouse of hair!! The shower is now draining perfectly!! An amazing invention!!

The instructions say, 'The Drain Weasel will slide past most drain pop up stoppers', not in this case. The blockage was below the stopper and (presumably the stopper has 'pepper-pot' type holes) the wand was too big to get through. So the device proved useless.

A note from the team: Thanks for taking the time to write your review, I'm sorry that the drain weasel hadn't been suitable for your plug holes, I'll be in touch shortly to help.
GO FOR IT”
After reading all the many reviews - I finally decided to order one of these. The very second it came in the post - I ripped open the packaging and ran to the bathroom.. down the plug hole it went.......and out came...not a rat-sized hairball....and not even a cat-sized hairball......but a hair ball the size of a donkey!!!....only problem was getting it through the small holes in the drain!....but we managed -eventually (bit by bit)....and now amazingly the water drains away very quickly. Another amazing product from Lakeland!!

So Pleased with My New Gadget.”
by Mr Ford
My Wife washes her hair over the bath, and she has fairly long hair, and I was wondering if she had gone bald , I used my Drain Weasel the one that rotates 360 degrees, wow and their was enough hair to make a wig, I think they are marvellous, I was amazed at how it cleaned out all of the hair in one go, I would recommend to friends and family.

Life changing product...”
by Miss Harris
...I'm not even joking. This product has changed my life. I've got long hair and I've clogged many a drain but I've always managed to unscrew the plug and hook it all out. I've now got a new bath with a plug that doesn't unscrew - the water drainage has been getting progressively, ridiculously slower. This innocuous little wand has just produced the most ENORMOUS snake of hair and goo from my drain - in one go - I thought I'd use another wand thinking maybe it had missed some, but NO, the second one came up clean as a whistle! My water now runs clear and free, I'm amazed and I love it!

Maybe I used it wrongly”
I have read lots of good reviews on here but found this gadget completely useless. The instructions were simple but I still didn't get a huge ball of yuckiness out of the drain. I tried the shower and the handbasin, but it didn't really work for either. Very disappointed but it could be that maybe the drain wasn't as dirty as I thought.

This arrived this morning and I have spent a very productive 20 minutes clearing 2 sinks, a shower and a bath! With 2 late teenage daughters I got enough hair to make a couple of wigs and the water is draining freely. Will be ordering refill wands

We have a grandson with waist length hair. Get's it all out. Refill packs are awkward why not supply 12 drain weasels in a capped cardboard tube? One a month for a year. As is, the cardboard backing is too long to put in a drawer and the wonderful spikey bits on the end seem to catch on something no matter where I store them

Tears of Joy!”
by Jean Harrison
I am disabled and I have had problems with the shower drain. I tried virtually every supermarket product available with little or no success.I decided to give this a try before calling in a plumber. It does everything it says with no real effort & is much cheaper than a professional. The only difficulty I had was getting off my knees once the job was completed! Can I give it 10 stars?

A trumph for humanity”
by Mrs Moors
This is one of the truly greatest creations since the dawn of time! Living in a brand new house I was very miffed by slow draining bath and shower after only 7 months use. However, having three long haired girls in the house I though there may be a little hair down the drain and decided to give the Weasel a go. This little gem removed more hair from my drains than a yetis summer molt! The result; gloriously fast draining bath and shower and the wicked necessity to scare the hairy ones with the 'rat' (which is currently being dried ready to be left somewhere appropriate!) Mwhahaha

I have really long hair, down to my waist so I thought this was a good investment for my new flat. I've only been here a couple of weeks but the drain weasel pulled out so much hair that I was slightly afraid I was losing too much!! Excellent product and strangely satisfying to see all that gunk come out! It really is so easy to use - great product!

Why no short refills?”
by Mrs Banham
The short wand is great, the long one less so for me. Went to buy short refills and was told they are not available. Come on, no point selling something with throw away ends when you can't purchase the required refills - please sort this out.

A note from the team: Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry the short wand isn't available as a replacement. We will pass this as a suggestion to our buyer to look into further.
I always use a Dossil to stop hair going down the bath plughole but I was amazed at how much hair this brought up! It is very easy to use. At first glance it seems expensive because you throw away part of it every time but it is still cheaper than using chemicals. I just hope the refills continue to be available, as without them, it is useless.

I had a slow draining bath so thought I would buy this "gadget"! Wow is all I can say, I am shamed to say that I pulled out a massive amount of hair and now the bath is drained before I can get out of it! Thank you Lakeland, another amazing product!

I have to say how impressed I am with this product. The drain in our bath was completely blocked and water was backing up badly. I knew that the liquids you can buy that are supposed to dissolve such blockages wouldnt work so I specially went to Lakeland to purchase one of these. It did take me quite a while and I used both of the disposable wands but was rewarded for my efforts with the many clumps of hair I removed and now the water drains away perfectly! I would say if you have got a bad blockage to buy some extra disposable wands as well in case you need them.

If you've got long hair, you need one of these.”
This may not be the cheapest way to remove my hair and other debris from the plug hole, but trust me, it really does work. It's quick, it's easy, and I can't fault it.

Quick, easy to use shockingly good! I thought I would unblock my bathroom plug hole but ended up pulling out a wet slimy hair ball as big as a guinee pig in 10 seconds! I love this product and cannot recommend it enough. Every family should have a drain weasle!.

I've tried all sorts to de-hair the bath plug drain, all have which have obviously failed miserably after having just used the drain weasel to extract an oversized slimy hairy slug from the plug hole! Yuck! But definitely works and I am sooooo pleased I bought this item. You can reuse the wand too if you are brave enough to pull off the hair that it has harvested for you.

Idea good but painful”
by Gillian Endacott
Where as the device cleaned well - I lost a lump of skin from my finger trying to get the handle fitted - blood everywhere. Hopefully I was just unlucky and others have better fitting handles.
